Copper tires the tread is coming apart big rips in lugsdot# 3d11-cn6-4905bought in july 13-06all 4 tires.
Purchased 4 new tires.all 4 tires same brand, type,size and dot number:cooper discoverer h/t, m+s. First new tire blew off rim after 4 miles;broke hub cap; bead failure.second tire blew off rim after 400 miles; broke hub cap; bead failure.third tire found defective on inspection;bead failure.status of fourth tire (removed by retailer simultaneous to first failure - status unknown.fortunately, both failures occurred suddenly and explosively while vehicle was standing still!pictures available.all tires replaced with another brand.
Cooper discoverer at tire,completely shredded, while going under 65 mph,..."lt, 265/70,r17, design #9804,dot.up.ah.0414803/30480-2, r-15065, load range 112/1090-was on a well-maintained 2002 dodge ram pickup, tire bought new.owner kept required air pressure constantly- checked air every few days,36,000 miles on tire-occupants seriously injured when vehicle rolled 3x.
