My rear hatch on the 2005 toyota sienna minivan does not stay up when opened.the weight of the rear door (trunk) makes this very dangerous as i put things in and take them out because i have to hold it up with one hand.no accidents or anything else occurred, so i think it is just a wear issue.the dealership is charging an excessive amount to fix it.also my sliding passenger side door will not work automatically when thebutton is pushed anymore.no accidents or other damage.

Within 43 days of purchasing cooper grand touring cs5 tires for my 1997 buick century, one developed a large sidewall bulge. The retailer forced me to buy another new tire for $72. And cooper refused to pay for it! i have been driving cars for 40 years an never had a new tire or any tire develop a sidewall bulge. I had a spirited conversation with a cooper rep and she got very rude with me. They had one recall for the same problem and never fixed the problem obviously. Please help!

I had three cooper develop bubbles in the side walls. When i contacted cooper tire corporate customer service they denied having issues. How could 3 out of 4 tires go bad with bubbles in the sidewalls and not have safety and or quality issues? i feel that cooper tire is not telling me the whole story.

I filed a complaint 10/18/2018; however, the complaint was for 2 of the 4 tires. Today's complaint is for the remaining 2 tires which had manufacturer defect per the shop. Please note these are coopertire,cs5 not cs4.t there's not an option for "cs5 "tso like others i'm using the closet which is "cs4 t".my van starting shaking (at this point i have two new tires on 4/18 (cooper cs5 -t) and the other two tires are also cooper cs5 -t, but purchased 1/2016, 80k mile "wear out warranty" i've put 7k on the two "new" tires & the other two have 48k (22k left). The steering wheel shakes, people shake, i stop driving it anywhere that will require me going over 35mph.shaking isn't even the word for it when over 35 mph. I can't get anywhere on my 35mph for 1.5 weeks.. Not fun with 4 kids to run to sports school & events. I get the van in finally on thursday, 10/18/2018. I get a call from the shop to tell me there is a "manufacturer defect" on the two older cooper tires. That defect which is typed on my rcptis "found that the tire had a ply separation causing the vibration." so i looked it up, not knowing exactly the jargon used "tire separation is one of the most dangerous things that can happen to a tire, and can put the driver of the vehicle and everyone else around at risk.a separation can lead to a tire blowout, which in turn can lead to one of these even more serious accidents. Head-on collisions.rollover accidents.road run-offs.side impact incidents.and, more.often times, the injuries sustained from these accidents are severe, if not deadly."i'm a meticulous record keeper and do regular maintenance on my vehicles. The tires went on 1/2016. Rotated 1/11/2017, 5/17/2017, 3/2018, 4/2018,10/2018. Out come same as last. 2 new tires i pay for, no options, so same brand on again. In 2016 i spent $675 on 4 new tires, they should have 22k left of wear. Instead in total i've paid $106 to have the brand tire on it.toyota said all 4 tires were a problem 2/2018, denied

Cooper cs4 touring tires leaking air in cold weather. I have a nissan murano, this winter with the very cold temperatures these tires had to have air added every week. I'm talking about 5 to 6 pounds of pressure. Had them bead sealed but they continued to leak. Posted complaints on murano web sites and was told by other drivers with cooper tires," the problem was the cooper tires." had the oem goodyears till 55k and never had this problem.i am posting this now so other people with these tires will check them more often.

I was driving in my neighborhood and notice my car flat. These were relative new tires. Found out that a tire weight puncture my tire and ruined my almost new tires. Not anything sharp. Not a nail. Not a spike but a flat weight destroyed my tire going 30 miles an hour.. Ridiculous. Contacted cooper tire and said it was not the tire debris can ruin a tire. If that the case in florida cars would be all over the place with flats. Cooper tire should have resisted the weight and only would not unless it was defective.

The contact owns a 2003 mitsubishi diamante equipped with cooper cs3 tires (na). While driving 25 mph, air from the vehicle's front driver side tire began to be released. The contact pulled the vehicle into a fuel station/repair shop where the tire was replaced. The contact took the vehicle to the independent mechanic that sold him the tires. The tires were measured and the contact was informed that each of them needed to be replaced. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The tire size was unknown. The approximate tire failure mileage was 198,000 and the vehicle failure mileage was 216,242.

I have had three cooper tires fail all cs4 models. The complaint is all the same, the tire develops a side wall leak and cracks leading to low pressure and tire failure. Each one failed at 17k,15k & 22k miles. In each instance the tire was replaced with the same model cs4 cooper tire and repeats the same problem. Each one was on the front of the car and the other tires which are non cooper tires do not have this problem. The tires are defective and i will no longer buy cooper tires.

Tire separation, front tire with just 27918 miles.

Cooper cs4 touring tires continued loss of air pressure on all4 tires. These tires have been dismounted and remounted at least 3 times to reseal the beads but after a few months will start to leak air. Air loss is approximately 3 psi per day. Side walls and tread areas have excessive surface cracking.one year earlier one of the tires blew out and was replaced with a cooper cs5 tire because the cs4 was discontinued. That tire holds air perfectly.this is a dangerous problem and has already lead to a blow out.

I have been a big proponent of cooper tires due to their manufacturing processes.i've since changed my mind due to the 3 blow outs we've had with the cs4 touring (2) and now most recent cs5 grand touring line. The cs5 tires were purchased less than a year ago.all have been on the sidewall and all have been on the freeway going at highway speeds.it appears cooper tires does not care about people lives!obviously quality is not one of their core values. Try being in traffic on the freeway and having a blow out those are the consequences.fortunately nobody was hurt just extremely scared.i will be taking the tires back to express tires to see what kind of support they will provide.btw only option to select is cs4 touring but these are the cs5 grand touring.same problem built into the newer model.

Purchased 4 new cs5 grand touring tires that have 80,000 mile "wear out" warranty on january 26, 2016. Miles = 174295.in april 2018, 1 year 4 months later, miles now at 215089 (40k put on, so should have another 40k more) my vehicle would shake, not hold air, i even had problems with air going into through the valve, my vehicle failed an alignment check by an authorized toyota dealership. Tire tread depth front driver: 4 6 5 5 tire tread depth front pass:5 6 6 5tire tread depth rear driver 6 8 8 7tired tread depth read pass: 6 7 7 6obviously not going to get another 40k miles out of these tires. In addition the wear on them is inconsistent on each tire. The tire isn't wearing right. Alignment right rear camber: -1.9 -.9.i had an alignment actually two, but one close to this appointment.take my vehicle into wear i purchased them, the fine print comes into play. Sure the crappy tires, wearing out pourly, not holding air, won't make it 80k, but i pay half for two new tires plus labor, the other two tires do not qualify i'm just sol. Replacement tires to chose from, the exact same tire. So i get to pay for two new tires of the exact same brand and warranty.update to follow as a "manufacturer defect" has been found in the two tires that were original.
