Incident description = 2004 vw passat had been previously report several fuel consumptions problems at hoy fox vw and gas ended up leaking out of fuel tank and cause a spill in my garage and drive. Hazard was inhalation gas in a closed in area caused head aches/ nausea/dizziness/ for my family and i i have had mutiple problems with vehicle since then has broke down on me twice in less than 1 day's time. On 01 sep 08 my wife noticed and oil spot in driveway after i left to go out of town granted we have brand new home and the vw was only vehicle parked in that spotshe could reach me because no service with my cell phone but i ended up broke down outside big spring ,tx the care was sluggish and leaking oil this time and on 03 sep08 in /texarkana after being in shop allday 2sep08 it broke down for a previous condition with ignition coils. Hoy foxvw not admitting that may have put the new oil filter to tight to cause to breakdown after having the oil change on 28aug08/29aug08 for other neglected maintenance. Please look into this matter i'm sure it's not just my vehicle they trying to assume because it just had went out warranty. In march 2007 low coolant warning caused me open hood and add coolant three times before i took car to bmw dealer ,who diagnosed cracked plastic reservoir in radiator and separate coolant tank. Each time engine had overheated due toa lot of pressure under radiator coolant cap. Needed much time waiting before opening to add coolant. This wasdefective materials and not normal wear and tear breakdown. Every preventive maintenance has been done by book on this bmw.manufacturer disclaimedresponsibility as car out of warranty by few months. Car had 54,000 miles. Plastic was found hardened by heat and brittleness crackedthe same. 339 other bmw 740il owners have filed petition on internet for same cracked plastic radiators (on bmw 740i ,and il models between years 1995 through 2001. Bmw ignored our pleas for free replacement. Major safety issue not expected on premium car like this.

Inside driver door handle broke off. Passenger inside door handle did the same thing in 2003.
Own a 2006 matrix and had all 4 tires ware out on inside of thread with 21000 miles on car. Did not notice the problem till car went off road hitting a tree. Repair shop said tires were worn excessively, and car shouldn't be driven. Upon repair, car was taken to have front end aligned and was told it was within toyotas specks, but could be corrected to a tighter standard. Contacted toyota and they said it was the tires fault, when contacted the tire manufacture(continental) , they stated it was clearly out of alignment, and therefore car came from the factory like that.

I had to have the tires replaced at 30,00 miles.took car for tires and was told i needed struts and shock.took care to have struts and shocks replaced and was told i neededtire rods and a ball joints for passenger side.dealer said the ball joint had been redesigned and i had to replace both or the car could not be aligned.they were unwilling to provide the ball joint for the drivers side.the passenger rear window will not work.and the power seat on the passenger side does not work.i will never purchase a chrysler again.
Own a 2007 chevy cobalt, and after 9,000 miles of highway driving the car wheels dented in causing the vehicle to shudder loudly. Brought it into the chevy repair shop and they said i had hit something. Unfounded claim whereas i had hit nothing.
The contact owns a 2005 toyota camry.the vehicle has continental touring lx tires, size p205/65r15.while driving 25 mph, the rear passenger side tire was punctured, which caused a slow leak.she took her vehicle to a tire store and was informed that the tire could not be repaired because it was dry rotted.the tire was replaced and the remaining three are going to be replaced because they are dry rotted as well.the dot number and vin were unknown.the failure mileage was 13,000.
Dt*:the contact stated while washing the vehicle, the tires were observed to be dry rotted with cracks on the outside of the tire wall.there was no warning prior to the incident.the vehicle was taken to a service dealer who determined the 5 tires were dry rotted and offered 1 free tire if the others were purchased.the manufacturer was notified. Tire manufacturers recommended 35 psi. At every other oil change the tires were rotated and the pressure was checked. There was no vibration while driving. Dt*: the contact stated while parallel parking at 1 mph, the rear passenger wheel rubbed the curb, and the aluminum casting on the rim flaked off, which damaged the tire.the service dealer was contacted, and determined that a smaller rim could not be used to replace the wheel.the contact expressed concern that curbs were 6-7 inches high, and scraping a curb could damage the rim and tire, posing a safety risk on the road.the tire and rim size were: p205/60r16.
