The contact owns a 2008 nissan rogue equipped with continental 4x4 contact tires, size p215/70/r16. The tires were worn down to the wear bar which the contact was informed of after taking the vehicle in for routine maintenance. The contact called the manufacturer who offered to take 50% off a set of replacement tires. The tires were replaced. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000. Updated 01/31/11/ updated 02/03/11

This is second occurrence with continental tires on my 2012 volvo xc 70. Side wall shredded while my wife was driving 35 mph causing blowout at 14,000 milesfirst blowout occurred when vehicle was only a few months old. Volvo replaced tire and charged me $270 saying defective tires were not covered under warranty. These are the continental 4x4 contact tires and i am now replacing all 4 tires with only 14,000 miles with another brand.

I have a 2011 honda crv with 18,657 miles and was told i need a new set of tires. The original tires are continental 4x4 contacts, m+s, 225/65r17, dot # fdf5 3ah2111.i am the original owner and have had two tire rotations to date. I also check the air pressure every week.

The contact stated the driver noticed the steering wheel was difficult to turn and there was a loud noise in the front end of the vehicle. The driver confirmed that the front tire blew out. The failure and the current mileage was 16,500.

My honda cr-v is 2 years old-less than 30,000 miles was told i needed to replace my continental tires that came with the vehicle. Tires are continental 4x4 contacts-size225/65r17.

Cupping on outermost tread groove producing roaring road noise.2011 honda cr-v with 15,626 miles as of 8/9/13. Tires rotated at 7500 and 15000 miles, only seems to be happening on rear.
