I purchased a 2003 expedition in september of 2002.i reported a vibration in steering wheel and brake pedal, a clanking noise in the front end, along with a slippage when taking off as vehicle seems to not want to respond when pushing on the gas. They stated the engineers were aware of problem and where working on it.the vehicle has been taken in several times, but these problems still exist.on the 2 appointment for my vehicle i stated to the service area that my brake pedal would go to the floor, and i would have no brakes.they told me my brakes were fine although this has happened twice while driving ever since.as of oct. 9, 2003 they have had my vehicle a week, and are stating they do not know these problem existing with any other expedition so they are unsure how to fix the vehicle.at your website that is not true, as i have seen severalreports of these same problems on the same vehicle as mine.i am very concerned for mine and my children's safety.*la

On 3/17/2014 we had 4 2-lt225/75r16e ht 701 115s bw sentinel installed on our van by big brand tire & service in lompoc ca.these tires are rated for 50,000 miles.we have driven about 13,000 miles.on 8/6/2020 we were driving from wa to southern ca.the right rear tire started going flat while driving.we had aaa install the spare and we continued on our trip.about 200 miles later the van started shaking very badly.we were on i5 in the middle of the ca desert.using our phone we found a tire shop about 50 miles away.we manage to limp our way to the tire shop.they said the the tread was separating.we had all fourbran new tires installed.i have been unable to find any contact information for the sentinel tire manufacturer.these tires are dangerous and should be recalled.we are very lucky, this could have ended in a catastrophe.we would like to find contact info for the manufacturer to try and get some compensation.

04 expedition. Tire pressure monitoring system not working properly, when tire pressure is set to 35psi per factory setting on door, tmps goes off. According to the dealer the spec on the tmps is 3-5psibelowset tire pressure which should be 35psi factory setting. The dealer spoke to the ford tech they said to increase the tire pres to 39 psi, the dealer set the pres to 40psi. The tmps has not gone off, but my concern is it working . The sensor is actually set 5psi higher than the recommended pressure, and if the sensor is working now. Is the sensor in a condition that does not allow it to work. In my profession, medical ventilation repair, if a pres sensor is pushed to its limit it has a tendency to stay in this position (stuck).if the tire does have a problem will it go off, the tmpshas gone off continually since it was new. It has been in the dealers service at least 3 documented times and numerous times they just checked the tire press and adjust the press. Ford sheetnumber 17030, of ford suggested fixes. Tire pressure changes approximately 1 psi per 10deg of temp change. To clear tmps warning, set tire psi to spec with a digital gauge note to reduce false tmps warnings or ride harshness during tire service or pdi, the dealer set tire pressure to 35psi with a digital meter and we still get the light/message. If the tire pressure changes 1 degree for every 10 degree temerature change, set at 40psi in presscot where i live and driving to phoenix could make the press in the tire greater than the max tire pressure on the tire. The max on the tire is 44psi. This is also the case in presscot winter vs. Summer.i don't believe that adding tire press is a correct fix.the tmpsto what i have read doesn't alarm you to overpress, which could cause lack of traction in an emergency swerve. You would not have the same traction as the tire set at a lower press.ford should be required to make the tmps work as intended with the correct press stated on the driver door.
