I bought 4 bridgestone weatherforce plus tires for my 2001 honda accord, size p19565r15. They performed well until the past month when, as of today, 3 of them went flat within a month of each other. In each case, the problem was the valve stem that broke. And it wasn't a small leak. Every time, the valve stem was practically torn from the rest of the tire. I was lucky that two of them went flat as i was parking the car, but the last one went flat while i was driving on a highway. It seems a little strange that all 3 would go flat in the exact same way in such a short time span, so i believe it is a defect with the tires. The tires have about 30,000 miles on them, but they are supposed to go for longer than this. Now, i'm just wondering when the fourth one will go and i hope it's not when i'm not close to home.

Firestone tires split on the side with less than average mileage.i purchased 4 tires approximately 03/1016 months one tire had 2-3 splits on the side wall.sears was unwilling to repair or replace the tire.on 03/12 i has a second tire with similar splits and sears replaced the tire because it was deemed faulty.they did not replace the other three tires.this tire model seems faulty and i am making a request that the manufacture replace/recall the tire for safety reasons.

Bridgestone weatherforce plus tires size p185/65r15 installed on 1996 honda accord.tire mileage only 14,368.i was driving approx. 64mph on the freeway when the back end of my car began to wiggle and pull to the left.next, i heard loud "flub-buddy" sounds.i immediately eased off the accelerator, punched the emergency blinking lights and made my way over to the freeway shoulder.the sidewall of the left rear tire was shredded and the stem valve was partially torn from the tire.people who helped me following the incident mentioned that the tire may have been defective.the next day i took up the matter with sears where i had purchased the tires, but the manager there put it down to "road hazard", and since i did not purchase "rh" insurance when i got the tires, he couldn't/wouldn't help me and suggested i take up the matter with bridgestone. If the incident was caused by road hazard, why weren't other cars around me affected?since then, i have researched the internet and discovered other drivers who have had problems with either this brand name and/or this tire line.i was lucky there was no one in the lane to my left when the tire malfunctioned.i hit no one nor was i hit by either the cars behind me or in the lane to my right as i made my way over to the freeway shoulder.it is to be hoped that other people with the same tires be as fortunate.

Tire valve stems cracked, this caused a slow air pressure leak to the tire while driving only. This has happen to me twice in one week, causing damages to two tires and had to be replaced. This is not only a costly expense, but very unsafe driving.
