I have a 2008 honda civic ex. Around 70,000 miles my engine overheated on the highway. Upon further inspection there was radiator coolant leak from underneath my car. The honda dealers stated there was a crack on the engine block. I investigated this matter on the internet and there were numerous complaints of cracked engine blocks on the 2008 honda civic. Due to numerous complaints honda extended the powertrain warranty to 8 yrs for unlimited miles. There is currently no recall but there should be in my opinion. Also i have replaced all four tires on my 2008 honda civic twice in about 70,000 miles due to uneven wear (inner flat areas on the tires) even with tire rotations and alignments. There are also numerous complaints about extreme uneven tire wear on the internet.

Purchased bridgestone turanza serenity plus tires this week. I noticed that one of the tires doesn'thave the utqg ratings on the side. I don't know if this is a issue from a legal standpoint since i have no idea what any ratings for the tire are. I was informed by bridgestone that this is legal during the first production runs. Any information would be greatly appreciated.[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

I have had three separate instances in a nine month period starting in may of 2010 of alloy wheels cracking on my 2006 bmw 325xit, which has run flat tires.the dealer said it is from hitting pot holes, curbs, or parking blocks.i find this to be very unusual as i live in a warmer state where there are very few pot holes, and i have not hit a curb or parking block.moreover, in thirty-three years of driving, i have never had a single wheel crack on any car that i owned.i also own a 2002 bmw (that does not have run flats) and have never had a wheel crack on it.a review of the internet reveals complaints by bmw owners with run flat tires experiencing repeated wheel cracks.it appears that the run flat tires may not compatible with the wheels.yet, nothing has been done by bmw to recall or correct the problem.this is a very dangerous situation and very expensive with the wheels costing $345 each to replace.

Bridgestoneturanza tires 225/45r17 dot 4906 - very noisy tires at 9, 131 miles.

Received letter advising that under recall 14v27300 my 2008 toyota sienna had a potential problem with the cable, holding the spare tire underneath the vehicle which needed to be replaced. In the fall of 2014 my spare tire was relocated to the luggage compartment of my van which rendered the area unusable for folding the rear seats down to use that area for transporting larger items. I checked with my local dealer regarding a permanent solution/repair and was told they had not yet received notice of and/or repair parts for the identified problem. This has been an unreasonable amount of time to wait to regain full use of my minivan.

I bought a set of 4 brand new bridgestone turanza serenity plus 225/60r16 tires on april 26, 2015, and have them installed on my wife's car.my wife and two kids were driving to phoenix on i-10 on a clear and sunny day on may 9, 2015 to visit a friend.she said she was driving at the speed limit of 75 mph and wanted to pass a semi-truck on her right so she speed up to pass the semi-truck.she noticed the steering wheel began to vibrate violently and she held on the steering wheel as hard as she can.then she lost control of the car and it began to swerve in the direction of the semi-truck.the car struck the side of the semi-truck and the window glass on the front and the rear passenger side shattered and also the rear windshield shattered because the roof of the car was bent.after the impact, my wife's car then swerved to the left and went into a ditch filled with weeds and bushes on the left side of the road.luckily the car did not flip and everyone in the car was ok because they all were wearing their seat belts.they were shaken up a bit but the ordeal was traumatizing.they were also lucky because there was no car in front or behind them at the time of the accident.the police, fire truck, and ambulance came and examined everything.they noticed that there was a bubble on the sidewall of the front tire on the passenger side.for insurance sake, the police said my wife was at fault because she was speeding while trying to pass the semi-truck and lost control.i believe she lost control because the bridgestone turanza tire was coming apart and cause the steering wheel to shake uncontrollably.the car was totaled and i will never buy another bridgestone tire again.

My original equipment bridgestone turanza el-470 tire developed a blister in the sidewall after only 16,803 miles.fortunately the blister was spotted during a meal break in temple, texas.we were returning home to san antonio from dallas on december 26, 2010.because of the holiday, the late hour and the unavailability of a replacement we were forced to pay for a hotel room in temple for the night.had we not spotted the blister, the tire would have likely blown out while we traveled in heavy holiday traffic on ih35, endangering our life and health as well as those around us.the local honda dealership parts manager explained that honda eschews any responsibility for the tires which they sell with their automobiles.these tires are clearly defective.there have been numerous complaints concerning premature failure. It is high time for the nhtsa to take action to make honda and bridgestone correct this.

While checking the tire pressure for a customer the valve stem broke. This was due to a degraded valve stem. The cost to repair it was $110.15.

Left front tire suddenly lost all air pressure as car was cleaned in a car wash. The carwash has no brushes or any device that can touch the vehicle.examination afterwards by the dealer revealed the probable cause waspart of the tire pressure valve was missing due to the valve stem breaking. This tire was part of a new set of four bought only 2 days before and had approx. 400 miles of usage. They were bridgestone turanza tires.
