I have 30,000 miles on my car and already my tire tread has worn down completely. I was under the impression that tires are supposed to last 50-70,000 miles? also, my front brake pads are already in need of replacing. I do mostly interstate driving and rarely use my brakes, what is the deal?

The tires should not be more than 2 years old. The tire years were 2001, 2003 and 2005. He was aware of the safety risk issue involved with the aged tires on new vehicles.

I purchased my chevrolet extended cab silverado truck approximately 7 months ago.today my bridgestone v-steel rlb265 radial lt245/75r16 load range e mts 120/116s tire blew out.the blow out occurred on the side of the tire (about the 'e' in the word bridgestone.there was no foreign object - it appears to have been a weakness in the tire wall. I almost careened into another car - since i was just beginning to merge on from one express way to the other.this is very dangerous & needs to be rectified before someone is either injured or killed. Is this going to keep occurring with these tires?if so, i want all 4 replaced with something different.

My toyota sr5 was bought in feb 06, i have 7400 miles on it. My right rear tire split open on tread and was splitting around the edge and sidewall. Last saturday on my weekly inspection ofthe truck the tires had no defect. Luckily it was caught before an accident occured. I have a 2008 honda civic lx 4 door and my rear tires are cupping and have flat spots. I do not drive hard and it seems there is a problem... This car is brand new and i am concerned. I keep my tires properly inflated and look at them often. I believe this may be a suspension issue. I think a recall is needed seeing that i have other friends with this issue as well.

Ta made the dot inspection find more issues.
