The gauge cluster panel is shrouded which makes it hard to see the gauges during the late day hours or dim light days because the gauges are not illuminated.they only illuminate when the headlights turn on automatically (or if you turn them on).i think the headlight sensor is mis-programmed, because it seems to routinely activate too late, but on one occasion it activated when it was just getting dim, weird. The running lights only illuminate the front running lights, not rear tail lights, making it dangerous under dim lit conditions.also the speedometer is not centered in the shrouded panel because they made it symmetrical with a matching tachometer (rpm) gauge.who really cares about a tachometer on an automatic vehicle? i want to see the speed that i am traveling.also, if you tilt the steering wheel up at one set point you cant even see the gauges depending on how tall you are.

There was nothing leading up to this problem.i went outside and my tire was flat.had it towed to get it fixed and 4.5 hours later they didn't find anything wrong with it. I watched it and noticed it seemingly was losing air. Then it went flat again a couple weeks later.still they were unable to figure out why 5 hours later.noticed when raining that when the tire was left when raining i could hear the air coming out of the tire.i backed the car to see the problem and saw nothing and it stopped.it losses air without reason all the time.everything has been done except replacing the tire. Which i asked pohanka to the last time and they decided to clean the rims instead.i now have to carry a tire air pump with me at all times.

New 2009 honda cr-v, with less than 500 miles i started getting bad vibrations and car veering to the right and then to the left. Honda of ocala tried to balance and align the vehicle multiple times which did not correct the vibration.felt like tires had a bald spot. After 3 tries, they decided to examine the tires (bridgestone / dueller ht's) and found that 2 of the tires had belts that separated.this could have caused serious injuries if i had not persisted.they replaced the tires and a rim with same tires only new ones.a week and a half later, car continues to have vibrations and they again think it is the tires.car now has 2500 miles and is in the shop again today.complaint has been filed with honda who just says the tires are not their responsibility.there are hundreds if not thousands of similar complaints, some with crashes and serious injuries because of these tires.some have reported that the sidewalls explode.i do not feel safe in my new vehicle and i think honda needs to stop putting these tires on their vehicles and replace the ones out there with different one.this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

On nov.2007 i purchased 4 bridgestone dueler h/t 684ii , p245/70/r16 tires for my jeep cherokee limited.the car had 67,000 miles on it.in sept 2010 i took the car into sts for the 4th time for a balance and wheel alignment, as the car always pulled to the left since i put the tires on.the car now has 97,000 miles on it and the treads are worn on the side of the tires not the middle or inside side.sts is now saying i need new tires.why did they only wear on the outer side of the tire and not in the middle or other side.for the money i paid, these tires are a piece of junk.i have had bf goodrich and had tires much longer than these.

I am in the process of financing a 2009 hyundai santa fe that has bridgestone dueler ht tires on it. This car has 29176 miles on it. I took it to a well known place to have my oil changed and tires rotated. They changed the oil but informed me that none of the tires weregoing to be able to be rotated because of uneven tread wear and the existing tire tread is less than 2/32nds of an inch on each tire. I purchased this car with only 7 miles on it and have only had it for 1 1/2 years so the tires should not have to be replaced. I have already had to have an alignment on this car and have had the tires rotated regularly so uneven tread wear should not be an issue at this point. I have also read reviews on this tire online and all of the reviews say the same thing about the uneven tread wear, some even say that the tires have exploded. Such a costly tire of this caliber should not have to be replaced at such frequent intervals. I was reading my owner's manual and it recommends that tires be replaced every 6 years depending on driving habits. These tires should be recalled immediately and replaced at no cost to the consumer. They are putting innocent people in danger everyday. (tread wear as listed on my receipt: driver front-2/32, driver rear 5/32, passenger front 3/32 and passenger rear 5/32).

I was driving from new jersey to my home in massachusetts. The trip is about 250 miles.about 18 miles from my home the sidewall blew out of the rear tire. Road conditions were wet and snowy the whole trip. I don't think i ever exceed 60 mph. I checked all tires for proper inflation before leaving my home for new jersey. The tires are 60,000 mile tires and had about 43000 at the time of the failure.the tire is a bridgestone dueler h/t 689 - this is not shown in your selection list. I had to select the closest name but the real name is the one written here.

I purchase my vehicle a 2006 suzuki xl7 in april of 2007 brand new.yesterday while driving on the florida turnpike at proximately 65-70 miles per hour my left rear tire, a bridgestone/firestone dueller ht 687 (p235/60r16) blew out.i am concern as i had no warning that that there was a problem and due to where this accident occurred and how fast i was driving i could have had a serious accident.my vehicle has just over 20,000 miles on it and these are the original tires on the vehicle.i would like o know if there have been other complaints about this tire as well.i two small children and had this occurred with my children in the car and had i not been able to control the vehicle this could ended our lives.

Local city driving. Just over 12k miles on vehicle. Excessive wear on the inside shoulders of the front tires.

On april 11 2009 i purchased four new bridgestone dueller h/t 684 tires for my 2004 honda crv.on april 23 i had r & m automotive in northridge, ca align the wheels on the crv.r & m is my regular mechanic for this car. The mileage at that time was 83875.on november 26, 2009 i noticed exposed steel belts on the left rear tire and excessive wear on the other three tires.the car mileage was 92763. I was told this extreme tire wear was the result of improper alignment when i took the car to the store where i bought them. They did however note that it was unsafe to drive on the left rear tire and installed the spare tire. I then took the car to r & m where they checked the alignment and found nothing wrong.r& m thought it was unsafe to drive on the tires and offered to provide a rental. R& m replaced the tires at no cost.i still have the tires in my possession and i believe they were flawed from the manufacturer.i was extremely lucky that i discovered this situation before i was on the freeway. The tires had only 8,400 miles on them and i wasn't checking them because i thought they were good for another 30,000 miles.i have used these tires before and they performed well and i got 40-50,000 miles of wear.

I purchased a 2010 toyota tundra in aug. At nearly 3k miles, both the front tires - bridgestone dueler h/t p275 65r18 114t m+s - had to be replaced due to extreme cupping. Now at close to 8500 total miles, front tires are cupping again. Dealer tells me to "keep driving," there's nothing they can do. I have 4-5 documented cases of bringing the vehicle in complaining about the cupping since purchased new in august. I just examined tires again this morning and they continue to wear, outside edges - cupping. Alignment on vehicle has been performed to specs numerous times.

I purchased my honda cr-v in june of 2008.i have approximately 27,000 miles on my vehicle.i was told the tires needed to be replaced.i was told the tires should not have worn so fast and there was a known problem with this particular tire.the vehicle now plus strongly to the left at highway speeds and i was told this was not due to the tire wear.they are still trying to figure out what is wrong with the left front tire.i have had several honda's and can say i am very disappointed in this one and will not buy another.

The vehicle was being rented from enterprise rent a car at the time. I was driving 50 mph on straight level pavement. The temperature was in the mid-30s. The pavement was bare and dry. I did not strike any object in the road. I experienced great difficulty steering the vehicle, so i immediately slowed, braked as little as possible, and was able to bring the vehicle safely to a stop on the side of the road.upon examining the tire, i observed the outside side wall of the tire was split open from near the bead to almost the tread line, a gash of several inches in length.as the vehicle was a rental, i was directed to take it to the firestone store at 202 south 1st street, yakima, wa 98901-2804 (509) 457-6191 where the tire was reportedly replaced. I was given a new rental vehicle. I believe this was caused by a manufacturer's defect as i did not strike any object in the roadway which could have caused this failure to occur.

Bl 265/65r17 110sthis tire exploded as i was existing the harbor fwy going south at adams blvd. The lexus has an automatic system that prevents instant breaking when the tire pressure exceptionally low tire pressure or wet pavements due to weather conditions and or slippery pavements. Therefore as i was existing the lexus did not allow me to stop as i normal did for over 17 years. The lexus then hit the rear of the car stop at the stop light. These defective tires must be recalled so other life's will be spared. Many folks have loss there life in usa and many foreign countries. I have purchased new tires from firestone for over 16 years. Firestone is the only tires company we allowed to replace all our tires. This is for our 2004 gx 470. Please assist the american consumers to stop these defective tires that could kill someone while you are reading this complaint.

Once existing the car the officernoticed that my rear driver tire had expolded. This is whatcaused the accident and caused me tremendously back pain problems. The tires were purchase new from firestone complete auto care as we only purchased firestone tires beginning with our first replacement tires until present.thank god my life was spared. Unfortunately this is the second major conflict with firestone and there defective products and maintenance schedules. Lexus rear automatic lowering up and down rear end system has product defects also. The brakes systems would not stop the lexus 2004 gx 470. They would not stop as many times of previous stops.

Traveling south on california interstate 5, after tejon pass in southern california, the right rear tire of our 2005 chevy astro ls minivan just blew out. The whole front part of the tire were shredded to pieces.

Events leading to failure are not known for sure.supposedly i hit something in the road such as a pothole, that damaged both tires on the passenger side of the vehicle.my wife did indicate that we did hit a pothole in the parking lot, i do not remember this.in other words, there was no dramatic event that led to the failure of these new tires.the failure was front tire was scuffed on the sidewall and a leak was created where the sidewall and thread meet.the rear tire received a cut about 3/4 of an inch long perpendicular to the tire in the thread that is next to the sidewall.the correction is that i am buying a new set of tires from a different manufacturer.

While having routine maintenance performed on the vehicle, the technician informed the contact that the front tires needed to be replaced due to wear on the treads of the tires. Upon notification by onstar to rotate my tires, at 6500 miles. I had them rotated at the dealership and noted that the front tires were "feathered" (wearing incorrectly due to some chamber or caster setting being incorrect).the dealer said he had seen worse tire feathering on 07 tahoe's and there should be a recall.
