I lost control of the vehicle.i could have been badly injured,or killed.iwas very lucky. (tiresize: 235-75r15)
Dealer reported vehicle was not aligned at time of manufacturing, caused prematurely wear tires which subaru of america is only willing to pay a small share of cost( dot number: tire size: p20570r15 )
The vehicle has a constant vibration that increases with speed.it feels similar to a tire being out of balance.the vehicle has been to the dealership several times.they sent the vehicle to ntb and i took it to the firestone/bridgestone dealer.three sets of new tires have been on the vehicle and two sets of wheels.so far that has not fixed the problem.i am concerned that the vibration is a defect in an axle or some other area of the vehicle and i am concerned about my safety when driving the vehicle.( dot number: y7mt tire size: p245/70r16 )
I have gone thru 3 sets of tires for the front rh side of my vehicle.i have done 3 alignments on my truck already.i took the truck into a 2nd dealer to check out the front end 2 weeks ago and the conclusion was that i needed a 4th alignment for this truck.this truck has 60,000 miles on it, mainly commuting back and forth to work.i am going to be traveling 4,000 miles next month and am very leery of taking this vehicle. What are my options.i have never had a vehicle in my 15 years of driving need 4 alignments in 2 years.( dot number: tire size: p21575s15 )
Premature tire wear.need two new front tires after 28,000 miles!contacted the dealer and they advised that it was the improper tire that was selected for the vehicle.i contacted the tire manufacturer and they advised it was poor engineering of the front end suspension on nissan's part.nissan has admitted that it has received numerous complaints about this problem.( dot number: tire size: p235/70r15 )
This is the second tbridestone tire in two months that i have lost tread from. I have been lucky twice and don't want a third incident. I was in 5:30pm traffic and felt that the car was not riding correctly i decided to exit the freeway and when i did i lost half of the tread. I still have the tire in my car. I drove immediatley to a local firestone dealer and the best they would do is pro-rate my another bridgestone dueler tire. I'm stuck because these tires are not in the recall and should be!! now i have to pay for a new set of tires. This problem is more widespread than bridgestone leads the public to think! please help!!( dot number: ejmt tire size: p24570r16 )
Original tires on vehicle were dueler 684. Replaced with same tire about 2 years ago. Understood at that time the dueler 684 was no longer produced but local firestone store special ordered last 3 tires from another location's stock so i would only have to replace 3 tires and use my original unused spare. On 6/12/00 i noticed a bulge on back left tire with smalltire separation. I immediately replaced with spare. During the week before i took it to firestone for replacement the defective tire was on my spare rack and totally decompressed with half of the tire tread separated from the tire. I was lucky! local firestone dealer (store #008842) pro-rated tire for $49.99. Tire only had about 30,000 miles on it. Firestone replaced with dueler h/l p-met p245/70r16. Other trooper and same tire owners should also know about this tire!! i do not feel safe driving on the dueler 684's and hope these are also recalled!( dot number: y7mt tire size: p245/70r16 )
Oem tire design and size creates dangerous handling performance on snow covered/icey roads. Vehicle performance suffers dramactically due to tire design and size given vehicle's weight. Lack of contact traction severly effects braking and steering control even at much less than reasonably safe speed. Question manufacturer's choice of tire design and size selection as a safety concern in winter driving conditions especially when vehicle is promoted as a 4-wheel drive suv capable of performing "better than average" in adverse weather. This is not only misleading; it is a dangerous real-world combination of poorly engineered performance.( dot number: tire size: p235/60-16 )
Tire blew out; sounded like an explosion. (tiresize: p225/70)( dot number:tire size: p225/70 )
On dec 18, 2000 about 5:00pm my wife geeta rastogi was driving home from work. She was waiting at the traffic light on md highway 28 in rockville to turn left on to darnestowne rd. When traffic light changed for her to move and turn left, she heard a big blast and her front left wheel jumped the curve. She with great difficulty drove to a safe place on the right hand side, got out of the car and found that her left front tire had blown a 2"x4" piece. A montgomery county police woman and a citizen helped geeta to replace the tire with full size spare. We bought a new tire of same type and size from a local olson tire store next day. I would like to know if nhtsa has received any other complaints about this tire from other consumers. Thanks. (tiresize: 205/70r/15)( dot number:tire size: 205/70r/15 )

I originally had the atx's on my explorer.once the recall went into effect, i went to a firestone car care center in nashville (store # 028150) and they replaced them with the bridgestone duelers.i drove to work afterwards going down the interstate when i noticed a shaking in the vehicle.i had just had a balance and front end alignment to go along with the replacements.so the next day, i took it back and explained the problem to the manager.it was busy and at the end of the day so i said i would bring it in the first thing saturday morning.they placed my tires on the balancing machine and i watched as we all noticed a wobbling in all the tires.the manager explained to me that the cause of this had something to do with when they manufacture the tires, they have a light and heavy spot in them.if that heavy spot is off or extremely heavy, it can cause a wobble.nevertheless, i asked what am i to do now.the manager stated that i would now be placed on the replacement list.i would prefer to go to a ford dealership now, but since i already had a replacement done, i doubt if they will replace them again.this is where i need your help.i have all the documentation stating the defective replacement tires.can you send me a letter authorizing a dealership to replace them again?or can you help me out in any way or suggest what altenatives i have?also, i can't understand why i had to repurchase the lifetime warranties on the balance and road hazzard when i had them originally on the atx's.the atx's were a recall, not tires that wore down from normal usage where a warranty would expire.i know the bridgestone duelers were not included with the recall, but they were my replacement tires, and they too were imperfect and acknowledged by the firestone car care center.as a consumer, i have done what was directed by your administration.as a consumer and a state government employee, i have gained nothing by doing what i was directed to do.help me!
Replacement tires, 26575r16, dot is unreadable. Consumer saystwo rear tires are showing evidence of cracks in rubber.
The left rear dueller tire experienced tread separation. The consumer heard a pop and the left side of the vehicle went to the ground.bridgestone had been contacted.
I was traveling on i-5 in irvine, california when my vehicle began to vibrate & the left rear tire disintegrated. Upon further inspection, 1 of the remaining 3 tires was determined to be defective. Bridgestone/firestone settled my claim for the cost of bodywork and replaced all 4 tires. I am concerned that the problems reported with atx & atx ii tires are not isolated to those models. My experience was identical to those related to atx & atxii failures. I strongly suggest that the nhtsa's investigation into bridgestone/firestone tires be extended to include the deuler ht lt265/75r16 model for safety assurance.( dot number: tire size: lt26575r16 )

The contact owns a 2019 ford ranger equipped with bridgestone tires, tire line: desert dueler ii, tire size: 255/65/17, dot number: (unavailable). The contact stated that while inspecting the tires, he noticed that the sidewall and tread was severely damaged. The contact stated that the tires were dry rotted. Myers ford co inc located at 13959 spotswood trail, elkton, va 22827, (540) 298-1271) was contacted and stated that the tires were defective and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer decided to replace all four tires, due to all four tires showing similar issues. The tires were replaced with similar bridgestone tires however, the failure recurred with the new set of tires. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened another case regarding the failure. The contact was offered a pro-rated cost for the tire replacement. At speeds around 50 mph and above, vehicle has a persistent shimmy (vibration) in the steering wheel. Honda dealer says it is the tires, tire dealer says the tires are ok. Dealer kept the vehicle all day, and the problem was about 90 percent better. But the shimmy came back within a month. Have talked to honda's customer service people, they claim no knoweldge of it. But the internet is full of reports of the shimmy on early production vehicles (like mine). I seem to have exhausted all other avenues, so i am now filing this report( dot number: )
