My 2008 dodge avenger had been sitting in front of my house since the beginning of may 2011. On the 24th of june 2011 i decided to take it in to the dodge dealers to have it fixed.while driving on the highway the car suddenly started to make a loud roaring noise and jerk.i drove into an exit in order to get off the highway.while trying to turn the steering wheel to enter the yard of a station i noticed that there was no response.the car kept sliding towards the curb.i had to quickly pull up the handbrakes to stop the car from running into the curb and beyond.then it stalled blocking the entrance to the gas station.before totally stopping, all the lights and indicators on the dash board were going on and off like crazy this is the second time that i have had to tow the car in to the dodge people.the first time, in 2010, the shift stick would not budge from park to drive and the car just wouldn't start.we had it towed to the dodge dealer in baltimore.in january of 2011, we had had to take the car in to dodge repair shop for a problem for which they had recalled their vehicles, including ours.we mentioned to the mechanics at the dodge repair shop about a loud noise that we were hearing. They had said that the loud noise was probably the alternator. We bought this car in march 2009 at a ford dealer in baltimore.we noticed very soon after, that the clock raced ahead.next the controls on the driver's side stopped working and would not lock nor unlock any of the doors.only the controls on the passenger's side worked.the cost to fix the alternator is $650.it has cost us, not only car rental fees taxi fees and towing fees, but the uncertainty of safety on the road. This is a very unfair deal for any consumer.this is a vehicle that needs to be recalled and consumers compensated or refunded..

2005 scion xb we have had to put three windshields in, four sets of tires and now the speedometer went out.we just spent two thousand dollars at the dealership, it had to have the seat belts done, the cruise control stuck all the time and we never got recall letters, i went on line.i am so concerned about the safety of my son.there should never be three windshield replacements, we don't know what the deal on this is and we have checked the tires daily.i appreciate the information here.

I have multiple issues with vehicle: 1) engine stalls while driving, which interrupts power steering. This occurs generally within the first mile of driving, now daily. Initially, problem occurred at random, once or twice per month. Regular service checks revealed no problem. The car runs without problems all day once the initial stalling of the engine has occurred. Consumer information has found this to be an ignition switch problem, but honda-authorized service dealer refused to acknowledge any recall or problem on this model on 1/17/2004. Instead, honda claims that a scheduled "valve adjustment" would correct the problem. Engine stalling and interruption of power steering is a serious safety problem while driving, and the occurrence is not predictable - how can i be satisfied with a "valve adjustment" and take the car back on the road?2) advanced tire wear.the vehicle only has 33,000 and i had to replace tires.firestone / bridgestone dealer mentioned that the wear is premature and sold me a new set of tires for a fair price.honda authorized dealer mentioned that it is driver/owner responsibility to maintain vehicle tire pressure and rotate tires according to scheduled maintenance.i have rotated and keep correct pressure in tires at all times.3) while making a sharp turn (more noticeable while making a u-turn) primarily from the rear of the vehicle, a loud howling noise can be heard.the same firestone / bridgestone dealer noticed the same sounds and referred me to the honda dealer.honda authorized dealer mentioned that a lube service is necessary to take that howling noise away from my vehicle.firestone / bridgestone believe more than a lube job is needed.4) rear glass trunk lid leaks during car washes and strong windy rain.

I have had this 2004 van in the ford garage in fremont mi at least 10 times. Even had to have the subframe replaced and that wore out all the tires all doors ,air conditioner, brakes, transmission replaced. Locks replaced, heated seat twice, swaybar replaced. I feel i am in a time bomb, we owe more on it then it is worth. Last one we buy! we are luckily to be alive in this piece of junk,to many dates of repair to give you.

I bought it back a week later and they had to line it up because it was all over the road. I have been spending money on tires all the time, spend money on brakes all the time, have problems with the electrical units to the radio keeps going out, bearings in the wheel is gone, and it keeps cutting off. I have had nothing but problems since i purchased this vehicle. I got a letter for the recall for the power steering and when i got my car back, the check engine light stays on, they messed up my boot and now telling me i need to fix it when they had someone to drive my car for 12 miles. In approx apr 2009 i experience acceleratepedal , i went to slow the car down easing on brake because i was coming to a intersection and could not stop and tried to push on brake that did not work had to switch to neutral because brake was not working i was on dry land and it was like i had no control of the car, when i took it to have oil changed no one said anything and it was like oh well.

I am a safety and efficiency technologist and i designed a tire that will always grab on any surface, won't blow out and can make any vehicle climb quite adequately.tires, the way they are made are accidents waiting to happen and don't keep the vehicle stable in all conditions.it is a company's resposibility to take the best care of the consumers needs concerning their product.check my web site for resume and more ...

I've purchased the 2004 tl on october 2003.since the very beginning, the car would constantly vibrate at higher speeds (primarily at 55+mph).took the car to the dealer for wheel alignment and balancing.the problem didn't go away.six months later, acura replaced my bridgstone tires with a new re-fromulated tires.as a result, the vibration felt at higher speeds weren't as severe (though still present).after driving for a month, the same level of vibrations at higher speeds returned.i've been attempting to resolve the issue with my dealer and acura for 8 months now, but as of today, no resolution has been forthcoming.vibrations felt at 55+mph, is a serious safety issue and i believe acura should be more proactive in resolving this matter.

The contact owns a 2005 chevrolet silverado. The vehicle bounced as it went down the road at 50-65 mph. It has been doing this since the contact bought it new. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer will do anything. The contact took vehicle to 2 dealers, and they could not duplicate the problem. They could feel the bounce but "it wasn't that bad". Overall truck drives like a dump truck.front tires wore in less than 2500 miles. Dealer rotated the tires and a front end alignment and said "try that". Owned a 2002 exact same truck and was a much better ride. Dealer told me " they made the seats more uncomfortable because people were falling asleep at the wheel" can u believe that.

Tires are wearing out prematurely.

We own a 2004 toyota sienna le awd with run flat tires. After only 23,000 miles we were told that the tires were dangerously worn and all 4 needed to be replaced.this is absolutely unacceptable.replacement cost was approx. $300 per tire.

Premature wear on bridgestone tires not due to misalignment. Manufacturer rep refuses to replace because it is not down to 2/32.supposed to be 80000 mile rated, but actual mileage is only 40000.the tires on passenger side are evenly but more significantly worn compared to the driver side.say i need to continue to drive until one tire reaches 2/32 despite the danger it represents. Claim it is manufacturers guidelines. No injuries yet, but am i supposed to drive on these tires until a crash or someone is killed?

1. Vehicle fishtailed on wet surface, lost control, began to roll. Vehicle left roadway, hit iron fence, spun 180 degrees, rear end hit tree.2. The vehicle should not have lost control, nor should it have begun to roll in that situation. Not a single air bag deployed when front hit iron fence at approx. 40 miles per hour. Passengers were left with minor, non-incapcitating injuries (whiplash, muscle pains, bruised organs).3. Car was total loss. Awaiting compensation from insurance company.

June 2010. Turbo engine failed cx7-2008 mazda- sludge in engine. Excessiveconsumption and burning of oil in vehicle. This is what lead to the failure and breakdown of this vehicle. Tires were also bald at 21,000 miles. Had to buy 4 new tires last year.

Premature tire failure at the bead of the tire.bridgestone driveguard run flat tires.vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system. Two days before the event we replaced a non related sensor in the vehicle. While the vehicle was in for service a complete service check was done including verifying the proper tire pressure in all tires. The day of the event, while on the highway driving 70 mph, the vehicle suddenly pulled to the right. After pulling over it was discovered the right front tire had ripped at the edge of the bead. The hole created was about 1 1/2 inches long. The tire have about 5000 miles on them and are rated for 60,000 miles.i have pictures of the failure.the rims, tires and car have no signs of damage such as curb rub. I have no confidence in these tires and believe that i am not the only one to experience this type of dangerous premature tire failure.

Driving on the freeway home heard a strange noise, pulled over to check and thought i had blown a tire somehow. When closely inspecting tire treading the center of the tire completely came off in a perfect circle when driving. Took tire to costco where tires were purchased less than a year a ago (8/24/18) was informed its a manufacturer's defect. Had to pay for a new tire. It was also discovered that passenger back tire had a whole in it which was missed when i took car in for tire inspection.

Rear tires quickly lost all tread leading to dangerous handling. Front tires of same age and mileage, but different size, appear new.

Tires are feathering badly.dealership service center tried fixing it.nissan tried avoiding recall on it, but told service centers to change tires at no cost.ridiculous and unsafe.was told to be an alignment problem.everyone except the company seems to notice.2003 350z.nissan made its warranty on the tires to 24,000 and our service is till about 36000 miles.they are just waiting it out until it becomes the peoples problem. Is anybody listening?

When turning left the passengers side tire produced a thumping noise.consumer was concerned that the tire will separate from the rim.

Consumer states while traveling 60-65 mph rear outside passenger tire blewout.

Inside casing of tire failed (unattached).was discovered when tire was dismounted to repair a leak. Tire is a bridgestone turanza ls-t.actual tire mileage 24000.swapped yearly with mounted snow tires.

The run-flat tires start to make noise, and then one day begin to vibrate badly.the steel belts separate on the inside of the tire, and catastrophically fail with potential to cause an accident.we pull over and have the car towed to a dealer who replaces the tires.this happens every 10,000-30,000 miles.we have to buy new tires to replace all 4 tires.

I just bought a brand new honda cr-v with bridgestone dueller p225/65r17 102t all-season tires.two days after purchase, i was driving on the highway that have slits/grooves in the surface for rain run off.the vehicle started swaying erratically side to side on other surfaces it handles fine.i contacted the honda dealer where i purchased the vehicle and the service tech inspected and test drove it, but found nothing wrong.it wasn't until last friday that another person experienced the same thing on the same stretch of highway with a 2008 cr-v with these type of bridgestone tires.the honda tech test drove the cr-v with other type of tires and bridgestone and discovered the swaying of the vehicle only happens with bridgestone duellar. At this point, the service dept. At this particular dealer has really not addressed that this vehicle with these particular tires on this type of surface is a major safety issue nor is it a priority.i've been driving on these unsafe tires for a week now with no resolution in sight.

Broken tire belt.

Sidewalls are weak and blow out. Had 5 tires replaced; still have one with bubble in sidewalk. Bridgestone rep says from hitting potholes.i have another set of tires(michelin) that i drive on the same roads with no issues. Bridgestone driveguard

The contact owns a 2008 honda civic equipped with bridgestone all season 89h tires, size p205/55/r16. The contact stated that after having regular maintenance performed the mechanic advised him that all four tires were bald. He was advised that it was unusual for tires to bald at such low mileage. The vehicle was repaired for four new tires. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 17,500. The vin was unavailable.

Tire pressure recommended too high. I bought a new 2007 gmc sierra 2500hd diesel crew cab long bed. And the required tire pressure front is 60psi. The required rear is 80 psi. Cold. The diagnostics on dash warn you when the pressure is high or low by 2lbs. The part that bothers me is i primarily drive the truck empty and it is very squirrelly and hard riding when empty and tires at 80 psi. Especially in wet weather. The other thing that bothers me is the tires are size 245 75 r 16 e designed for no more than 80 psi cold. There is no room to allow lowering tire to a safe pressure when truck is empty. The only other solution is to add weight to the bed of the truck to put traction to rear tires and i don't think that is realistic. Before someone has an accident trying to obey the label maybe this label and diagnostics should be changed.

Run flat tires on my 2004 sienna awd show excessive, uneven wear on outer treads as compared to inner treads on front tires.toyota has a customer service program to replace run flat tires with uneven wear on awd models but the program is too restrictive.my vehicle showed this wear after 20000 miles but toyota says i have not maintained the tires properly.i have never had this problem with so few miles on a vehicle's tires before and i have owned a lot of new cars.

Broken tire belt.

Rear tires quickly lost all tread leading to dangerous handling. Front tires of same age and mileage, but different size, appear new.

P1955r154b; while driving 25-30 mphand without any indication left front tire blewout on 2000, mazda. Please provide further information.
