1st tire started vibrating and then blew out. Was going 60 mph on smooth highway outside air temp was about 60 degrees. No accident or injuries just tore the mudflap off and crushed the exhaust. All the other tires i caught as soon as they started vibrating and got them off the vehicle before they blew out. None of the tires were ever ran over 65 mph. Out of 8 total tires purchased 2 are still on vehicle. 6 of these tires have had tread separation. Bf goodrich should have recalled all of the sizes in these tires and not left dangerous tires on vehicles. 2 of the tires that separated were on the steering and could have caused the vehicle to wreck if they had blown out.

I have bfg commercial t/a tires on my camper. After a blowout on 5/15 i took the tire to a bfg dealer and he said it was a factory defect. The entire cap of the tire ripped open and pealed completely off the tire. Bfg refused to honor any warranty. On 6/2/2014. I noticed that a second tire had a crown on the tread. Tire dealer said that the tire was defective and was about to fail in the same area. He said tires showed no evidence of cracking, crazing, or damage to the tire prior to failing the cap that blew out was at an angle of above 40 degrees. Dealer said this is where overlay of building the tire should have joined. Both tires have a code date of 4314. Dot be1ljd11. Temp was 82 deg. And driving at 62 mph. Distance from home was 80 miles and tires were inflated to 80# prior to leaving home wheels have a tpms installed and gives a reading of pressure and temps...bfg stated that they would not honor any warranty.the box for selection of rv does not have the manufacturer listed. My rv is a forest river prime time 5th wheel model 330 mks.
