The contact owns a 2005 nissan maxima with b.f. Goodrich tires, size 225/55/r17, dot #ve00ae111109. While traveling 60 mph the front driver side tire suddenly exploded causing the contact to crash into the median and rollover. The contact injured her ribs, back , and fingers during the crash. A police report was filed. The tire failure was not diagnosed. There were no prior warnings. Updated 12/23/10*ljthe passenger was also injured. Updated 04/04/11
Low mileage bf goodrich advantage at tires outer belt failure resulting in life threatening situation. Front driver tire complete separation of belt from tire result full blow out.the outer edge of other tire where can see cracking and early development of belt separation. The blow out occurred under 45 mph on a paved road. These were new tires with less than 1000 miles on them.
Bf goodrich advantage t/a tires size 23560r17. I had wear on tires after 18000 miles. Replaced tires with another set. After only 23000 miles i have wear on tires and they need replacing. This tire is supposed to be good for over 36k miles.they are substandard and defective and be goodrich and ford motor company should be aware of these 7 out of 10 owners complain of defects and nothing is done of changed.

While traveling at 70 mph heard a noise. Pulled over and noticed tread separation. Please provide further information.
