I replaced the original tires on my 2007 honda civic at 49,749 miles.i thought this was a little premature, but the tread was getting thin so i went to discount tire on 12-28-2010 and had 4 new tires placed on the vehicle.after less than 19,000 miles on the new tires, the passenger-side rear tire was making a loud noise.the technician at discount tire inspected it and stated that the inside edge of the tire is cupping (or looks choppy) and this is typically due to bad suspension, wheel bearings or alignment.i took the vehicle to tom's auto repair and had it inspected for the wheel bearings and shocks and had a 4 wheel alignment done for $55.00.they stated the wheel bears and shocks looked fine and that the alignment wasn't that bad.i then took the car back to discount tire and they agreed to replace the passenger-side rear tire for the replacement cost of $13.25.the technician commented that the driver-side rear tire was also starting to show signs of the same wear pattern, i.e. Cupping on the inner edge.the tire which they replaced is not available as it was disposed of by discount tire.i researched on-line and found honda had issued technical service bulletin # 08-001 back on april 11, 2008, with a revision issued on february 5, 2009.from reading numerous on-line consumer comments about this tire issue (which is directly attributable to a honda design flaw in the vehicle suspension), i get the feeling honda's fix will not actually fix the problem.

Arizonian silver editions tires rated at 60,000 miles. Two of four tires have cracked on the side wall before 20,000 miles.

Arizonianallseason silver addition 215/50/r17 seperating at seams 2 of 4 tires costing me over $200.00 to replace tires are less than 6000 miles and less than 4 yrs old rated for 60-75,000 miles sold to me by americas discount tire in redding california. Vehicle always garaged (2 tires with same issue replaced and i do not trust other 2 tires)

This complaint is based on multiple replacements and repairs, an abnormally quick/constant loss of tire pressure, and a disastrous blowout that caused me to miss my fathers death by 1.5 hours. I purchased 4 arizonian silver edition plus tires on may 22nd from discount tire. It didnt take long for the tires to lose air. On july 2, one of my tires went flat. On july 5, discount tire replaced the flat tire as well as a second tire. On september 6, i noticed a tire was low again. When i went to discount tire, the employee told me that my air valve was loose, but that they had inflated the tire to its proper pressure level and inspected the other tires as well. On september 12, 2018, i was driving to the denver airport after finding out that my dad was in critical condition in austin, tx. At 12:00 pm mt, when i was driving southbound on the e-470 toll about to exit for denver international airport (exit 28), my rear passenger tire completely blew out. I did not hit anything. I was not speeding nor driving erratically. I was 10 minutes away from the airport. I missed my flight. I had to wait an additional 6 hours to get on the next flight. I arrived in austin at 10:45 pm cst. Upon landing, i discovered that my dad passed away 1.5 hours earlier. I was deprived of the chance to see my father one last time by a matter of 10 minutes, which was how far i was from the airport when my tire blew out. Its not a hyperbole to say that this situation was the worst experience of my life. But for the blow out, i wouldve been on time for the 1:55 pm flight and would have made it to see my dad before his death. When i went to discount tire on september 24, 2018 for a tire replacement, i was told by the employees that upon examining the blown-out tire, there was no indicative reason as to why the tire blew out. These tires were defective, causing a catastrophic life event for me.

The air chuck was attached to the tpms sensor/valve stem during an inflation service. The sensor/valve stem broke and all air escaped from the tire.
