Helmets that i own i have 5 types from full faced to a non d.o.t. Approved what the industries calls a peanut shell all other helmets are so called d.o.t. Approved. Being i have had 2 fusions operations done to my vertebrate in my neck the weight of these helmets cause a great strain upon my neck when riding with the force of the wind and rough road bumps the pain at the end of a short 15 mile ride is bad at the end of a day long ride it is so severe that i want to take the helmet that i'm being forced to wear in the trash. These helmets not only cause pain to most riders necks but can make hearing very difficult when riding with a helmet on, the wind blows into it sides and makes a wind tunnel sound and the rider can't hear emergency vehicles(with sirens blaring) orother vehicles around you. Helmets are a danger to us riders.....
