Gentlemen:recently i bought an assortment of 120 automotive mini fuses from ebay, labeled in values from 5 to 30 amps. The fuses were improperly manufactured and labeled, and are not designed to blow out under their rated loads.they are in fact jumpers, and not fuses, and their use will create a fire hazard under certain circumstances. Reference the following ebay items, as of 8/30/2011: 150645069967, 250871980283, 180716644018, 180628100367.these listings are for mini-blade automotive fuses, made in the far east and sold by far east sellers through ebay.when i looked closely at the metal blowout strips of these fuses, i saw that they were apparently not designed to blow out at the rated amperage.the melt strips all appeared to be the same size regardless of the fuse amps value.they will all carry the same (high) current before blowing.only the plastic cases, which are color-coded and labeled according to the fuse value, are different - the internal metal fusible strips are the same.only the 30 amp value appears to be of the proper size, label and design.this becomes evident when comparing these fuses with known good, branded fuses of differing amperage ratings.the fuses clearly and obviously will not provide the protection that fuses are designed and sold for.i tested one 5 amp fuse under a 25 amp load.the lead wires got hot and the power supply i was using overloaded.the 5 amp fuse remained unchanged - it did not blow when placed under five times its rated load. Ebay seems unconcerned and will probably do nothing to remove these fuses from the market.

This car has been nothing but trouble.i have had to have the drive shaft replaced, the motor mounts replaced, the tail light assembly replaced, the steering assembly replaced and i too have a problem with the dash lights dimming.the technicians at the local saturn dealership are nothing but rude. They dont fix the problems you bring the car in for and you end up having to take it back the next day or even sometimes that same evening for a repair that wasnt done properly.i thought this was going to be a good car but it has been constant trouble and is constantly in the repair shop.

I am the current owner of a saab 9-3se. This vehicle was leased new 2-28-2000 and then purchased 2-27-03. The original engine was rebuilt at 46,000 miles in 2001 and now had to be replaced again 12-15-2003 at 100,000 miles.

94 dodge shadow and some other years around my area are going bad having to replace the computers and they are costly.

The contact owns a 2010 shadow stable mate horse trailer equipped on a 2005 gmc sierra. While driving 25 mph, the trailer suddenly began to sway left and right. The contact immediately noticed that the rear axle was fractured. The trailer rolled into a ditch. There were no injuries. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The dealer stated that the axle would need to be re-welded to the frame. The trailer was not repaired. The failure mileage was 120,000.

Can we please have hid (blue headlights) limited or made illegal?tonight on the way home i was just about blinded and almost caused to crash due to oncoming "blue lights".if you search the internet there are tons of complaints.let's make them illegal.how many lumens are really legal?

I had just purchased a used 2001 automatic honda civic lx coupe and its at about 116,000 miles and the transmission went out.i understand it is veryhigh in miles, but i also believed the false advertisement of "hondas are made to last".a week prior to when the transmission completely failed, i was driving to work and it started slowing down and it felt like i was in neutral.i pulled off to the side and turned off my vehicle and restarted the car and everything was fine.a couple days later the same thing happened and it felt like my car was jerking trying to switch gears.i found it very dangerous because when my transmission gave out i was lucky enough to had turn into a small residential street from a busy street.had i not turn and stayed on the busy, traveling at high speed, i would have been in an accident along with other cars behind me.after further research i also found that this was very common for early 2000 hondas and especiallyfor 2001 hondas.in researching i also found the nhsta conducted an investigation and concluded it was not dangerous enough to resort to a recall. I understand that investigations are done vigorously and thoroughly, however i feel different being that i was in the situation.in my opinion, if it this common and many people are affected by it, something should at least be done.i am a student and just paying for a new transmission is so costly and i find it very hazardous and problematic when my car stops abruptly in the middle of the road.i would really appreciate it if there was a second look at this situation.thank you very much for your time.

The nhtsa web site won't let me look up my car (http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/).my car is a 2002 lincoln continental.within the 2002 lincoln, the only model on which the system permits inquiries is the town car.what about the 2002 continental?what about the 2002 ls?regards, chuck kirkpatrick.

I have a 2001 ford zx2.i had the transmission replaced on it in march 1, 2002 and now it is gone again it is now 4/12/2004.my car will not go in reverse.before that it constantly shakes until the car turned off when i was stopped for too long.

This is an ongoing issue that started in july 06. My air conditioning unit was not working properly. The dealership repaired the unit but failed to put the dash board on correctly.in the mean time my brakes were not good, i asked about a recall. The manager told me that the brakes were bad in all jeeps but no recall. I paid for the replacement of brakes and rotors. Then a few weeks later there was a class action lawsuit but i received no compensation. In june of 2006 the blower on the air/heating unit would come on and go off. They found nothing wrong but had to keep my car for a few days. They offered a rental car that we waited 1.5 hours for but it never showed (they forgot to order it). December 07,2007 going to work the blower on the air/heating unit was going on and off periodically, we could not keep it on. Then it started to smell of fumes and electrical. I called the dealership and spoke with the service manager. I explained to her what was happening and that when we dropped it off i would like a car ready for us so we don't go through what we had been through with them on previous repair visits. She went on to tell me that we can get a rental at our cost unless the warranty covers the part then its paid for. At this time, she got on the defensive and said "i would like to make a suggestion to you, find another dealership to fix your car". I asked her so that i was clear if she is refusing to fix my car, when in fact this should have been corrected in june. I feel as though my car is going to catch on fire, i have no other vehicle to get me to work and the dealership that caused this issue is refusing to fix it. This dealership should not be in service if they are not going to stand behind the vehicles that they sell or the repair work that they do. At this time my concern is the safety of my family and myself when driving my jeep with the odor of fumes and burning electrical.

Car has vibrations at higher speeds 60+ was told it was tires/wheels they were replaced for $280 for tires and $200 for just steel rims. Car still vibrated at high speeds and also felt like rotors needed to be replaced-the kind of vibrating when braking. Replaced rotors and brake pads $49 a piece for rotors and $40 a piece for brake pads. Car continued to vibrate except when stopping. After time now (3 mos) when the car is vibrating and you go to slow down it shakes the car even worse. Was then told to replace the wheel bearings. Just did that yesterday they cost me $230 not only does the car still vibrate it has a grinding noise when you trun to the right now. Since ive bought it it has vibrations at high speeds and a "rubbing" vv, vv, vv noise when turing right. After replacing wheel bearings the car still makes all the noises and grinds now. Dont know what else to do to fix it, beginning to think im just going to have to replace the entire front end. Really used to trust chevy now im not so sure. I have had way too many problems with this car and i just bought it in july2004- ridiculous if you ask me.

Window regulator on all windows of the 1997 pontiac grand prixi have 3 windows with the window regulators out right now. I replaced the rear driver side, and it went out again less than 3 months later. Also i have a board in the driver side door to hold the window up until it's fixed, when i took the door paneling off to put the board in, i discovered that the driver side window front window regulator had been previously replaced also. I contacted pontiac, they did nothing, but told me my vehicle was used.i explained to them that to my knowledge the window regulator on this car has gone out 5 times, which is not a coincidence, it looks to be to be a defective part. Please investigate, thanks, marisa crouch.
