A few things here, engine light comes on and goes off at random. Had it checked a few times. No problems found. Dome light/door chime will not go off when door is shut and/or car is turned on. Left hand blinker went nuts a few time, basicly it was blinking at a very high rate of speed.a few second 'power loss' happend a few times while driving, lost power to raido, and lights. The rear end bounces way too much when i hit a bump, can cause loss of control at highway speeds.

While under warranty, my ford f150 blew the #2 sparkplug and cylinder head at 25,000 miles.it has happened again with the same cylinder head 60,000 miles later.the repairs will cost me $3000.00.ford motor co. At this time is unwilling to cover the repairs.this seems to be a serious problem with the 1998 triton v-8 engines as i am seeing alot of the same complaints being filed.

I own a 2006 chevy colorado i had the brake light switch replace due to recall on march 2006 three years later the sameproblem happen again the brake switch went out. Chevy corp said since the repair/recall was already performed i would have to take it back to the dealer ship to get it look at again and the same part that failed was going to be an out of pocket expense. I don't think i or anyone else having the same problem should have to pay for a defective part. This poses a serious problem because it caused me to loose my brake lights and almost got rear ended four times. This poses a very high danger because when you are driving you do not even know when you loose your brake lights there is no indications or messages fromthe dash board that your lights are out. This is just an accident waiting to happen hopefully there are no deaths involved. Thank you for taking the time to read this complaint.

Brake system went out at 68,000 miles, starter went out at 90,000 miles, tie rod snapped at 104,000 miles, regular oil changes and tune ups.

On 4 occasions dash light indicating vsc and brake problem appeared.each time the braking of the 2003 toyota sequoia was compromised. Each time the truck was brought to toyota service center for repair. Each toyota said they could not replicate the problem but replaced skid computer anyway. 8/20/08 problem recurred with dash brake indicator light coming on. Braking again compromised, heard loud "clunking sound" coming from car while driving. Immediately brought to scottsdale toyota service center. Again, said they could not replicate problem and returned car with no repair. Called toyota customer service and filed a complaint. Toyota indicated complaint is now on record.problem with dash brake light coming on and braking diminished recurred again 8/27/08. After shutting engine off, indicator no longer lit and braking back to normal.i fear for both my safety and my families. Simple google search indicates a large number of sequoia owners are having the same problem.

The engine light keeps coming on. When we took it to the service center the first time we were told that the problem was with the transmission; the colinoid was then replaced. The second time we took it in to the service department because the engine light came on we were told that the computer is sending the exact same code. We were told we would need a new computer, at 56,000 miles. It was installed. The third time we took it in to the service department for the engine light being on we were told once again that the computer is indicating the same problem. After three days of being without transportation we were told that a ball bearing in the valve body was in the wrong spot, to quote the service manager. We told this was fixed so we took our vehicle home. One mile from our home (we had just left the dealership having the transmission "fixed") the temperature gauge climbed quickly to hot. Once we arrived at home, we opened the hood to find a perfectly straight slice on the upper radiator hose. Of course, i am sure you are aware that the only place to purchase a new hose is at the dealership. We replaced the hose ourselves for a grand total of $32.00 because we were told by the service depatment, when we went back the next day, that it was considered regular maintance and was not covered under the warranty. I can accept that except for the fact that three ase certified mechanics that we spoke to regarding this hose told us it should have held up for at least 100,00 miles (not 59,000).

I bought a 2000 ford ranger. I have kept the all the upkeeps for this car and more according to the ford dealers instruction manual for the ford ranger truck. It has about 81000 miles on it. I recently had to pay $2300.00 to the kearny mesa ford to fix my car. I do have the cruise control on it. One day, i smelled antifreeze. My heat gadget did not go off. There was no indication that the truck was overheating, but i chose to bring it in. I thought it was probably a leak in a hose. It turned out the a heating element was "probably the culprit", but they found through their computers that the engine had to basically be rebuilt because the engine had overheated. My concern was that not once did my heating gauge tell me that the truck was overheating. That is dangerous. I do not know if this is connected to the cruise control problem, but for a heating gauge to not go off when there is sever heat going on in the engine is dangerous. I could have gotten stranded in a dangerous place or the engine may have exploded on the freeway with the enormous damage that took place. I thought this needed to be reported. Ford couldn't tell me why the heating gauge did not work. They told me that now and then even trucks that are kept up go wrong. That is not a good answer when this could have caused a serious accident.

I have a vehicle seat toledo and i was in a car accident and the other party gets away and this done during my duty time ,no death or persons injured, i sent my vehicle to the agency safari motors in jeddah city three weeks ago, until now i have not receive the vehicle due to lack of adequate parts to repair the vehicle and it is very costly 100 sr car rent, and the dealer did not supply a rental ,and the performance of the agency is very bad, so i need the defect to be investigated.

My 2003 dodge ram 1500 dash is cracking really bad. It has been doing this since the beginning of this year. I feel that if the plastic breaks into pieces they could cause bodily harm. If you are traveling at a high rate of velocity and come to a rapid stop or impact an object it may cause a piece of plastic to break off of the dash and fly into a person potentially harming them and or causing death. There are many complaints about this issue and it needs to be looked into as to why this is happening. Thank you marco.

3 power window regulators replaced on my f-150 super cab ford lariat truck...driving down the road on 3 separate occasions and wham the window drops down in the door. Happened in 2007, 2009, 2010.$350 each time to get fixed.i'm sure a major thorough investigation regarding the window regulator issue with ford would turn up 1000's upon 1000's of incidents and replacements.this is an obvious problem.while i blame ford corp, i have a problem with the dealer saying it's not a ford problem and that ford has to use the company in mexico they use to replace the windows per the dept of transportation.

For 5.4l v8 triton sohc 1999-2002 spark plug blow out from cylinder head. Its not been two years and this is the 3rd time it has happened at a cost to me of $4600. Plug installed in assembly blew out, had repaired, it blew out, had it repaired again by a certified ford dealer. It lasted month & half. Now want to replace cylinder head with same poor design head putting me back where i was 3 plugs ago and ready to spend $4600. More. There is only 4 threads holding any and all plugs. Design flaw. I work in aviation, if our blades started blowing out, they would go through the cabin killing passengers and then plane would crash killing those left. There would be a gov investigation on one incident. Please check to see that thousands of other consumers have had this happen. They will recall for cruise control but not for poor design cylinder heads. What good is a vehicle without an engine?

2006 jeep wrangler shimming .. Jeep advised me a year ago after replacing it the factory was crappy(right out of service managers mouth) so they replaced with rancho ... Nut it is doing it 4 months later ... After all this and coming too halt on interstate 4 times and pulling too side of road .. This is getting too the point someone is going to get killed ... It serious and if it takes that someone to get killed before something is done (that will be a life lost because no action taken on this matter ...

In december 2008 my 2002 ford explorer, eddie bauer was having problems shifting gears around 30-40 mph. The rpm's would rev up high then jump into the next gear. At times it sounded like something was about to break because the jump and noise it made was so loud. I took it into a car shop and they told me i needed a new transmission. So i paid for a remanufactured transmission and within 3 months my car is doing thesame exact thing. I have had to take it back 2 more times since bringing it in march 18. I then started researching online 2002 explorer transmission problems and have found an overwhelming amount of complaints about the same exact thing.

In driving from dover, tn to knoxville, tn on october 6, a 250-mile trip in constant moderate to heavy rain, i was again reminded of a safety hazard faced before, but for which i had no hope to have a hearing. Perhaps now a more favorable ear will hear that the cascades of water spewed out off the sides of four truck-trailer tires on each side of the vehicle are an intolerable safety hazard foisted on the drivers of personal cars. The front wheels of the tractors have fenders on the sides, and thus the wateris prevented from streaming out to the side to adjoining traffic lanes. I believe regulations should require that the outside rear tires of truck tractors, and the tires on both sides of the truck trailers, should be shielded by fenders, to prevent drivers of cars in adjacent lanes from having to forego visibility and hence safety when passing trucks or driving next to them.

I purchased a new leer camper top with a leer locker. The clamps that were supplied by the manufacture were insufficient in properly securing the top. Upon deceleration the top moved and caused approximately $3000 in damage to the vehicle. Leer has blamed the retailer for improper installation. Upon investigation i've found that leer does not supply an installation manual to their retailers, they are unable to supply torque recommendations for their clamping fasteners. It appears leer has not properly engineered this product which has resulted in property damage and could result in bodily harm or death. With the addition of the leer locker mounted in the top of the camper top, this significant addition of weight increased the forces in de-acceleration that far exceeds the clamping force of the supplied leer clams. The result of this in a sever braking de-acceleration can result in the top coming detached from the vehicle and becoming a projectile, resulting in serious injury, harm or fatality. I personally will attempt to bring this to the attention of local state authorities here in oklahoma.i am an engineer by education and trade, i have performed fmea's and fea's in automotive component designs and this product requires the attention of nhtsa. I believe the manufacture is noting more than a fiberglass component manufacture, a trade that does not require engineers. Here they have implemented a design that adds significant forces under high g's and its turned into a problematic incident they continue to ignore. I've spend months trying to resolve this property damage incident with leer and the retailer, both parties have been unresponsive in their actions.

In november 0f 2017 we ordered an a.r.e. Z series truck cap from catamount north in williston, vermont.on december 15, 2017 it was installed.on january 28, 2019 while parked in a garage in florida (our winter home) the back window exploded. It made so much noise we thought it was a gunshot.there was glass everywhere in the garage as it sprayed 15-20 feet out and inside the truck bed as well. Upon examination (after be frightened and stunned we started cleaning the mess up.we found that on the left side of the frame where it connects to the truck tailgate there was rust on the 3 screws holding it together.the right side was o.k., no rust.this to me means one of two things the cap was built incorrectly (the most plausible cause, or it was installed incorrectly.the company a.r.e. States that they only cover "glass breakage for up to one year" they are not acknowledging the improperly built cap or taking any responsibility.it's been only one year and one month yet they are steadfastly denying any admission of wrong doing.we paiddown and topper town in cocoa florida order the door/window for the back of the truck cap.we got a call from topper town stating a.r.e. No longer makes the door, and a.r.e. Went on to say that the party that makes the door is auto temp also out of ohio. Here is an email that i sent last week and copied the highway safety department on:thu, feb 14, 1:30 pm (5 days ago)to luanna, nhtsa.webmasterhello luanna, just an update for you, we have been trying to get the door to the cap replaced through topper town in cocoa florida, using our insurance company usaa.topper town just called and stated you, a.r.e. Said the door is no longer available and not made by your company but auto temp inc from ohio. The cap we purchased through a dealer in vermont was a z series and is only one year old.the frame was defective therefore that is why the glass blew out.my husband had a heart attack that evening

Heater core leaks needs to be replace 1 to 2 times per year, turn on the defroster and it will fog up windshield for you can not see the road. Per ford dealership it due to poor parts, but the consumer needs to pay for it or get killed in a traffic accident if the consumer need to use their defroster.

Brake system went out at 68,000 miles, starter went out at 90,000 miles, tie rod snapped at 104,000 miles, regular oil changes and tune ups.

Nut it is doing it 4 months later ... After all this and coming too halt on interstate 4 times and pulling too side of road .. This is getting too the point someone is going to get killed ... It serious and if it takes that someone to get killed before something is done (that will be a life lost because no action taken on this matter ...

Water leaking into the passenger compartment, causeing the carpet to get drenched, vehicle is red in color.

Transmission jumps from first to second and second to thirdtransmission slips backward on hill in drive

Heater core leaks needs to be replace 1 to 2 times per year, turn on the defroster and it will fog up windshield for you can not see the road. Per ford dealership it due to poor parts, but the consumer needs to pay for it or get killed in a traffic accident if the consumer need to use their defroster.

Change window regulator 2004 f150 lariat driver side rear window.
