Interior light stay on after it rains or moisture is in the air. Had door switch replaced, work for about a year and then recur again.the interior light can only be shut off by taking out the fuse. The interior light get shoot that it can burn your hand if touched.this seems to be a ongoing problem with1998 mazda b2500 trk. And for randers.it could possibly cause a interior fire.

This past weekend 08-23-08 and 08-24-08. The analog dash cluster went out on my 2004 gms envoy.when it went out i mean completely out no tach, speed or and or the gauges worked.this happened while i was driving.i took the vehicle to the dealership right away.it was checked and confirmed that the dash cluster was not getting any power.this can be a safety hazard for the reason being if it where to happen while driving like it did to me.it could be a contributing factor in an accident.not know how fast one is going can be very dangerous.there is a new dash cluster on order which should be installed by wednesday 08-27-08.

Have had the car back for service 4 times for timing belt issues. 1st - normal 60k replacement2nd - timing belt pulley seized up and car overheated3rd - belt was rubbing on safety guard4th - timing belt broke.

My husband and i were pulling our camper to virginia for vacation andhalf way there we could smell antifreeze.by the time we got to martinsville and got our camper backed up at the campground white smoke was coming out of our tailpipe and later overheated.we called aaa the next morning and had it towed to a local dealer where they had informed us that it was the egr cooler.they put the new egr cooler on and we got our truck back 2 days later.we did not drive the truck anymore until we were pulling our camper home to ohio and noticed the same things were happening. The white smoke and antifreeze smell we also had loss of power.i made my husband pull over and low and behold we had no antifreeze in the truck.the dealership had put 2 bottles of antifreeze and changed our oil because of antifreeze in the oil.we called the dealership and they told us to try and limp it home.we were not going to be any part of that and asked the gas station attendant where the closest ford dealership was located.they told us the get off the next exit and go 1/2 mile up the road.we made it a 1/4 mile from the dealership and had to pull over because truck was overheating.tried to start truck back up and nothing.got a tow truck to tow us to this dealership where they told us our engine was vapor locked.we only had gone 130 miles from the other dealership before this happened.dealership is telling us that ford has been having issues with the 6.0 liter v6 f-250 super duty diesel engines.have an ongoing lawsuit with dealership and ford.would like to know of other issues with these trucks because we are over warrant by 2,000 miles.

I have a 2001 hyundai accent gl 1.6l engine the pulse generator switch has broken 4 times already each time i take it to the dealership they tell me that they don't know why it keeps breaking and that there isn't anything wrong one time the transmission switch broke, the engine light comes on and goes out, the car has been poorly accelerating and slowing down while i am on the high way, accelerating crazily and using up more gas than normal, it has made sudden jerks when i accelerate at traffic lights or has stalled for a few seconds when i press the accelerator pedalthe car doesn't seem to have enough power and the problem is solved for about 24 hours after i take it into the dealer then its back to the same routine.lately i have been hearing a ticking coming from the engine. *la

I own a 2000 toyota celica gts, i bought it in 2001and ever sence then the belt has squealed. I had to have it replaced at 25,000 miles, they replaced the belt tensioner and the belt because it was chew up the belt. My car is now at 46,000 miles and it is making the same noise. I took it in to have it looked at again and they said that it was the same thing. I love my car ,but am very disapointed in the disign of the of the belt tensioner. I feel that this should be replaced by toyota and fixed once and for all.thank you, robert van dyck.

Our volkswagen golf ( cuts out on us when the car is moving.this has been a problem for most of the year.we have taken our car to the volkswagen dealerat least 7 times so far and the car still cuts out despite many different things being done.our dealer has told us that they are still not sure why, and after the last visit, they thought they had fixed it.however, i was jst driving on the 1-9 in new jersey at speed and the engine cut out on me. There was no where to pull over and i had to put my warning lights on and let the car come to a stop.i also lost my stearing although thankfully i was in the right lane.although the volkswagon dealer is trying its best to repair our car and has been in contact with volkswagon for help, this keeps happening.this has just happened again and i am writing while i am still angry. Since collecting the car from the dealer last week we thought the problem may have been solved as the engine didn't cut out all week (before it was nearly everyday), however it has happened again.the thing that is bothering me most and upsetting me is that this recurring unsolved problem is potentially threatening to my husbands and my life- as well as other road users.it is extremely scary when the engine cuts out at speed while other cars are whizzing past you. I also want to know why we have to be wary everytime we collect the car from the dealer, because everytime the problem has not been remedied.

There have been no incidents/accidents, however problem is:2001 ford f250 super duty pickup truck - owner's guide / manual states on page117 under the heading "tether anchorage hardware" -- (tether anchorage hardware kits (part number 613d74) including instructions, may be obtained at no charge from any ford or lincoln/mercury dealer) per automotive dealership, part number is now obsolete; have investigated and found updated part # f81z5613d74aa.ford customer service phone told me to call the dealer; dealer said part is approximately $80.00; called ford customer service back - they told me to call the service manager at the dealer to see if they could help.ford did not have responsibility.basicly i was told to pay for it or who cares? so far including this letter i now have 2+ hours invested into this issue.unforturnately, most people would not take the time and this is why these issues exist in the first place.this should have been taken care of in 1-2 phone calls.consequences could mean death of a child due to the child restraint seat not fastened into vehicle properly.also, if information online is accurate, i'm not the only one who has experienced problems with this type of question / issue.please look into this and hold these manufactures accountable to keep our children safe!

My 2004 toyota sienna xle limited power sliding door cable snapped and door wouldn't close, this is a serious safety issue and toyota should take responsibility of fixing this on going issue with these sienna vans. There countless number of people have the same issue. Deal cost to fix this is over $2000. This is totally unfair for consumers to pay such high cost repair for what toyota is responsible for in first place.

2006 mini copper s. I bought it with 15997 miles on the car. The clutch went out 3000 miles later and the mini dealership was asked to check out the car especially the clutch only 2 months prior to this happening. No warning lights appeared before the clutch stopped working. Now the dealer tells me that is not covering by the warranty and then informs me that this will be the third clutch to be installed in this vehicle.... One was replaced at 8000 miles and then another at 11000 miles (first owner) and now again at 19000 miles. This is not acceptable and i have researched with many other mini owners that have experienced the same or similar issues. Some may have started their own class action lawsuit.....please advise!

Automatic headlights.automatic headlights fail to activate all driving lights, i.e. Tail lights.many drivers assume to think that their automatic headlights are on, therefore, they are safe to drive in conditions requiring "lights".suggest, either vehicles be required to activate all driving lights, or, a written warning statement be provided to owners of vehicles with automatic headlights informing of the hazards of driving in conditions requiring all vehicle lights.

I understand that xenon and hid headlights have come under intense scrutiny by other motorist and your organization is investigating there use.the issue with these lights stems not from cars which came with them originally. Instead they are coming from after market jobs done by companies, and sometimes by owners.a problem in north new jersey which has reached epidemic levels is the theft of xenon lights from expensive cars. The individuals then sell them on the street, or via the web. (if you dont believe me check www.urbanracer.com you will find people selling stolen xenon lights from audis acuras bmws mercedes) they will sell the lights and the ballasts for a few hundred dollars, while the real value of them is well over one thousand dollars.these lights will end up in cars that are not originally designed or equipped to have them. Since its non oem little to no engineering work is done or testing is done to assure these lights are safe in these vehicles. Almost all vehicles with xenon lights have leveling systems, which are often centrally located in a vehicle, and which the thiefs never steal. These leveling motors keep the light from blinding other motorists and causing potentially dangerous situations. Without the leveling motors the lights will aim incorrectly on roads with any grade to them. I understand some sort of laws now exists banning aftermarket xenons, but they need to go further.for one thing police need to know what cars should have them and which ones should not. The ones that do not, need to be stopped and owners issued citations with fines and be required to remove them in a given period of time and hand them into law enforcement authorities. They need to do this to stop someone from swapping them in and out for a court appearance.inspection stations should also do the same thing and check for xenons in non xenon cars.

Automatic 2007 chevrolet cobalt. Gm sent me a letter about the power steering recall. Went to dealership to get the problem fixed september 1, 2010. September 24, 2010 i was involved in a car accident where my cobalt hydroplaned and completely lost control as described in the investigations done by gm, on this issue.

2008 outback subaru - drove the car for over 1 year with the transmission jerking into gears.i had the dealer/mechanics check it 4 times within the first 2 months of the purchase. They could not find the problem.i have had the 3,000 mile oil change serviced by the dealer - 6x and complained about the transmission. On 10/9/08 took to the dealer again for a oil change and the transmission.they find the problem - i think they called it - a reflash - a computer adjustment.the car now drives great.why did it take so long for this adjustment?i think that subaru should have called a recall.i am also concerned if it did any damage to my transmission.

The steering shaft became detached from the steering gear box.

Despite particularly good care for my ford f-150 lariat, including cleaning and waxing by hand with no harsh chemicals, the roof on the cab is defective. Instead of it being a flat, even surface where water can roll off, the roof top has several channels that end up collecting water. Over the years this has led to bubbling of the paint and ultimately rust so severe several of the channels are now perforated (have hole in them) allowing water to seep into the cab and flood the floor of the truck. Bubbling of paint and other areas of rust spots have also appeared leading me to believe the paint job or the metal used to make the vehicle was contaminated creating electrolysis between different metals.
