2012 mercedes benz sw;vin#:[xxx]recalled about 2 years ago for takata air bag kit replacement.called the dealer (contemporary motorcar - erie, pa.) several times and the answer i got was, the kit is not available.called today and talked with [xxx].he informed me that their is nothing they can do because it is not an official recall.he further stated that no mercedes has ever had a problem with the air bags.what are my options?no incident yet.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
