The contact owns a 1991 ford ranger equipped with a slime tire valve, part number 2080-a. The contact stated that the metal part of the valve separated from the rubber part. The rear passenger side tire became flat as a result. The valve was the third to malfunction over a short period of time. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
