I own a shark brand motorcycle helmet that is part of a recall currently going on. I have followed the instructions provided by the shark brand website and filed for a replacement. However is has been 20 days now and i have not received a replacement. I was supposed to get a box and shipping label in the mail within 2 weeks and have not been given a confirmation number, follow up email, and they are not returning my phone calls. I did not spend over 300 dollars on a helmet just so it could sit on the shelf. I am very frustrated.
I received a recall on a helmet from shark helmets (nhtsa safety recall 14e-086) in letter form.the letter advises me to call them for free replacement and instructions on how to return the helmet.i've called them three times and they will not send me the information on how or where to send the helmet. This has been going on since 03-24-15.
