Complaint regarding vehicle motor defect in certain microwave models. *lathe consumer has attempted to contact the manufacturer, per the recall notice, but has not been successful because the line is constantly busy.the consumer indicated he would disconnect the microwave until he can speak to a representative.

Recall 03 e 044 000 concerning microwave ovens/circuit short: consumer had a sumsung microwave model #mr6699gb , date of manufacturing november 28,2001. They had a concern that they did not receive a recall notice on this product.

The problem indicated in the microwave oven circuit recall 03e0444000 occurred after the recall repairs wereperformed. Consumer contacted the manufacturer whose resolution was to cut the cord and send the serial # to them and they will send the consumer a replacement microwave, in which the consumer has to find a repair shop to install it into their motor home. The contact owns a 2002 winnebago brave.the contact received nhtsa recall notice number 03e044000 (equipment: recreational vehicle) for his samsung microwave (mr 6699gb, serial number 71mr500345v).the recall repair was performed, but the microwave failed again seven months later.the manufacturer stated that they were only required to repair the vehicle once.the purchase date was unknown.updated 09/18/07

After the microwave/oven recall 03e044000 repairs were performed the microwave became inoperative. The microwave was working fine before the recall was done.consumer contacted the dealership (al's refrigeration), who indicated that the circuit control board had cracked, and needed to be replaced.dealership indicated that they had to order the part.dealership failed to do so. Consumer then contacted the manufacturer to discuss the issue, and had been going back and forth with the manufacturer.the parts were not installed (2003 jayco).the problem was finally resolved on 5/27/04.

Consumerreceived recall 03e044000 subject: microwave ovens/circuit short.the consumer did not like that the manufacturer of the microwave was sending the replacement parts to the individual consumers and making them responsible for finding a dealer to install the parts.also,consumer was displeased with the phone number provided to get information about this recall.

The samsung microwave was defective and the manufacture refused to repair or replace as stated in the recall numberthe manufacture provided a tracking number that was invalid.

Samsung has not taken care of problem with recalled microwave, which has been going since aug. 18, 2003.*laconsumer seeking replacement of the microwave.*la
