Recall 04e031000 concerning samsung microwave ovens. Consumer waswaiting since june 16, 2004 to get this recall problem corrected. Manufacturer was contacted on several occasions, and this issue still ongoing.
The contact owns a 2004 gulf stream equipped with a samsung microwave, model number: mr1032bb. The contact discovered that the camper was involved in nhtsa campaign number: 03e044000(equipment). The part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact was informed that those type of microwaves were no longer manufactured and he would be compensated for the equipment. Since the microwave was stock on the vehicle, the contact was unable to send the manufacturer an invoice for the equipment. Afterwards, the manufacturer refused to assist the contact. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. Parts distribution disconnect.
The microwave has been recalled and the manufacturer will not make contact with consumer for authorization for the repair person to travel the extended mileage.the consumer has called several times but keeps getting a recording which states models being recalled.

A month ago they said they would call him back in 5 days and they have not yet. Caller will not remove microwave frommotor home. Caller was trying to get manufacturer to tell him who inlocal area could do recall work.
Consumer received recall notification on samsung microwave oven, recall was performed and oven began to make a constant humming sound while in use. The recalled part was replaced march 2006.after repair the microwave made a humming noise when it was not being used.the consumer contacted the appliance dealer and was told that samsung would have to authorize additional service.the consumer contact samsung directly but has received not resolution.

I had a defective microwave replaced under warrenty by the dealer i purchased my motor home from.the replacement is a samsung mr1032bb (subject of recall).the service department or the dealer never informed me that it was the subject of recall or provided the warrenty registration card.the only way we knew it was a problem was through the goodsams club publication.i believe this oversight on the part of the dealership was extremely neglegent.the dealership is pontiac rv, pontiac illinois.

Samsung recalled the microwave in my motorhome--sent maytag out to fix it and now it won't work at all--it worked fine before they worked on it and i set up another appointment and they don't have the right parts and i need to use my motorhome!!!!!

Winnebago motor home with recalled samsung microwave customer states that the microwave can cause a fire**ccthe consumer stated he received a recall for their samsung microwave and the microwave became inoperable, so the consumer contacted the manufacturer as per instructed and took the microwave to the repair shop and was informed by the shop that they could not fix the defect due to the fact samsung could not get the keypad to work. The consumer stated he has been back and forth with the manufacturer about the microwave which samsunghas possessed for two months. The consumer stated he would like the situation investigated.

The consumer received a recall letter for the samsung microwave.the letter states to the area center will come out toe make the repair.the consumer was unable to find anyone in the area, so she made contact with samsung, and they sent an independent owner out to make the repair.the microwave is inoperable again, and the independent owner, nor samsung will respond to the consumer.the service center the consumer found stated she is out of the service area to come to the home.nhtsa recall e031000.

The contact owns a 2003 kodiak camper model 214 with a samsung microwave, model number mr1032bb. The contact stated the microwave engaged without warrant and burned rolls of paper towels that was inside the microwave when it failed. The microwave was destroyed. She was able to locate nhtsa recall campaign id number: 04e031000 (equipment: recreational vehicle) but was unable to confirm if her microwave was under recall because the manufacturer's number listed on the recall was no longer in service.
