I bought a reese model 1393100 4-bike hitch mounted rack from walmart.i noticed after using it for the second time that the bike was not stable on the rack.the rubber cradles are not secured to the rack with screws or other hardware..they only slide on the bars that the bike rests on.they are fairly hard to get on during assembly, but they don't stay in the same spot that you install them in after having the weight of a bike on them.when i arrived home after using it the second time, the bike was crooked and appeared that it could have easily come loose from the cradles at some point if i had continued driving.i found a recall for this product online(http://www.reesebrands.com/includes/pdfs/bike-carrier-recall-owner-notice-ccp-version-september-18-2015.pdf), but it appears that the rack i bought already has the replacement parts included.the replacement parts still are not secure enough to prevent the bike from coming loose and sliding around.i called their support line at cequent consumer products and they took my first name and phone number, but i have not heard back from them.i am going to see if walmart will accept a return of this product, but i wanted you to be aware that there appears to be an ongoing issue with this model, even after the recall and correction.and the response from the manufacturer so far is non-existent.i don't expect to hear back from them.
