Started my car in jan 2015 and power steering service esc alarm comes on this makes second occurrence when i looked up my car it says there was a recall for this problem when i looked up the vin number it says it was repaired so why is it still happening there r several recalls for my 2009 chevy malibu so i want to know if i've owned it since 2010 why i've only received one recall notice for my vehicle.
I purchased (2) power system plus hslr30 flashlights.shortly thereafter, i learned about a recall for the 12 volt charging units for the flashlights.about the first of january 2009, i called the company at the number provided, spoke to an individual (female) explaining the problem.she promised to replace the (2) defective 12 volt charging units by mail.having received nothing by february 4, 2009 i again called the company and spoke to another individual (male) who sort of snickered about my previous conversation but again promised to replace the defective chargers that were subject to the recall.today is april 20, 2009, almost 4 months later and i still have not received replacements for the defective and recalled charging unit.i believe corrective action should be forthcoming sooner rather than later.
Nissan santa rosa said they fixed my power steering problem only to find out after they put me in my car with a check engine light on my friend and i broke down on freeway, come to find out my power steering was not fixed but caused alternator and battery to fail they said sorry we didn't replace the other two power steering hoses but we will now, i'm at a loss please help
I have taken my car into the dealership due to the steering wheel being tough to turn at times. I received a letter in the mail from the dealership saying there may be a problem with the steering. However, when i took it into the dealership, they told me that there was nothing they could do to fix the car unless they could physically see that the steering was acting up. Just yesterday, i couldn't turn my car without using two hands to tug on the steering wheel. It wouldn't turn without fighting with the car. This is not the first time this has happened, and i am at the point where i want to sell the car because there are too many problems with it. I have had this problem with steering so many times. What will it take for the dealership to fix the car? do i have to get into an accident before they will fix it or recall it, because i am not paying for something that i complained about when i had the warranty. I am now over the miles for a warranty. Another issue that i have reported to the dealership while under warranty was the car won't start. Sometimes i turn the key and it won't start. It takes several times before the car will actually start. This happens frequently. It's several times a week. It is unreal that i can't get into my car and start it without having a problem. I have reported this issue to the dealership and again was told that nothing is wrong with the car. I have reported several other issues, but the dealership refuses to help with anything. There are so many issues with the pontiac g6. I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone unless all of the issues are corrected.
I have a 2007 ford freestyle. The transmission has gone out in my car. I have experience unconditional "surging" while the car was in gear. I have gone without running the air conditioner, thinking that was the "cause" of the car surging (taking off). Theincrease acceleration (revving) of the speedometer and rpm gauges were very alarming. The occurrences were many throughout the two years of me driving the car.the wrench appeared while i was driving, the car died. I pulled over and started the car back up. It hesitated after two tries, it finally turned over. I preceded to go to t my next destination three hours later, after transporting the athletes that i coach, the car stop as we were traveling down the road (on going traffic) .there is where "everything "went pieces. The car was not getting any gas, it would not go into drive nor reverse. I was scared and devastated, the kids were frightened, screaming outthat we were going to die. I am praying that ford would make a justifiable decision on recalling this make and model before "tragedy" stumble upon their company,confused & concern.
2004 ford f150 supercrew.for the 5th time one of the windows has dropped into the door due to the regulator malfunctioning.the first 3 times were covered by the extended warranty i purchased.however, this will be the second one i will have to pay for.each time, all ford does is replace the regulator and tell me i must have gotten a bad one.this is 5 windows in 5 years.
2006 saturn ion power steering went out and gm say that there is no recall on it but everyone is having the same problem, they fixed some cars but never sent out a recall letter. And i was told to take care of it the best i no how and also the gas get stuck i was driving and hit the brake but the car kept going lucky no one was hurt my sister was in front of me i was trailing her just bump her alittle. Please help im out of work and now no car witch i still paying on if i had known i would have never purchased a gm car. Power steering stops working while driving if i stop and turn key off power steering works and then goes out again

I had issues with my headlights flicking on and off, remaining off upon using my turn signal. I own a jeep liberty 2003. I was told the car was not registering any issue on the computer analysis run, on oct 6th upon taking it in however it seemed like a multi-functional switch to the mechanics. The lights literally would go off on their own accord driving on a straight away at times as well. There was also a time they would click high beam, park light, then low beams and out then come back on all by them selves while you are driving. Very unsafe and dangerous. I went to tom o'brien jeep, 4630 e. 96th street, indpls, in 46240. And had this replaced on november 4th. However the multi-functional switch and labor cost me 165.00 and the new switch installed was not operating correctly, so i paid that for a bad switch. Now when i turn on my switch the headlights, the fog lights and my park lights are all on at the same time. No other way of using my lights. Dealership and advisor greg nester, told me they would reorder and that they were not at fault for bad switch but made me pay for labor on a bad switch that is still not working properly. It's now been a month since installing bad switch and i still do not have a correctly light system and multi-function switch has not come in. This is a safety issue jeep should cover. Apparently allot of jeeps are having these replaced and dealerships not equipped.
