An suv grille guard was attached to the vehicle that hit me and my car.the grille guard was designed not to bend or flex when in use, and in doing so made the airbag inoperable (vehicle didn't know it was involved in an impact) due to its hulking metal design. It also reduced the amount of available crush space afforded to me (i was hit by a 98 honda passport), crush space an element of design added to reduce/absorb forces at impact.with the grille guard product firmly in place, it eliminated the designed safety feature of crumple zones.without the safety of crush space, airbags, and reduced available crumple zones i suffered worse injuries and a more forceful impact.

Holley carburetor have been made with defective components purchased from a supplier in china.these defective components are off composition zinc alloy die castings containing out of specification lead content.this condition cause intergranular corrosion which may result in swelling, flaking and cracking of the casting.if this occurs in the fuel bowls then there is potential for fuel leakage.volvo penta has already initiated a recall of holley marine carburetor due to this issue.automotive and marine carburetor were both manufactured using these same defective components.

My car stalled while in the middle of a busy intersection while in motion. Later find out that i need a new fuel pump. Was not aware it was under recall. Paid to have it fixedin july of 2009. Repair shop failed to put my vin, mileage, and correct year of vehicle on invoice resulting in not being able to get my money back from ford.recall was good through january 31, 2010. My car once again stalled while at a stop light sparks and small flames when attempting to start after stalling. Electrical problem, and ford is doing nothing about it. I replaced the battery and still no crank or clicking. Also listed as a recall. Spend $651.02 to have fuel pump fixed and now can't get my money back because repair shop did not fill out invoice correctly. Now will have to possibly pay over a $1,000.00 to fix the electrical issue... When the fuel pump was fixed, the shop failed to secure the gas tank correctly causing fuel to pour out while driving at a rate of a gallon per minute. Ford is now doing everything they can to avoid paying me back for the recall services after i was informed by a ford customer service rep that i would be paid back. I have been back and forth for weeks now to the dealership and i have been told over and over again with a new excuse everytime as to why they can not repay me...

My 6-month pregnant wife was driving our new murano when all the sudden the car's service engine light went on and the car wouldn't go beyond a few miles an hour on the interstate.although she made it home safe, when we had it towed to the dealer they told us that there was nothing wrong with the car.since their computer didnt recognize a problem, the technician wouldnt look at it.a few weeks later, the same thing happened again to us and when we took it in again the dealer seemed ignorant of the recall. We received the recall notice in between incidents and couldnt get an appt right away. When i showed him the form, he said that the alternator probably didnt need to be replaced but that they'd look at it.it's frustrating that we have to fight so much to get this issue resolved.

Fuel & oil lines cause engine failure and smokes white and black exhaust.fuel pump replaced 3 times.

Pep boys replaced brakes on my vehicle in feb. 2006, march 2006 and may 2006 and all of the brakes failed before their warranty periods.pep boys has refused to pay for the replacement of the brakes installed may 2006 that failed.in addition to the warranty on the parts, they had a sign posted, in plain sight, with a 100% money back guarantee of satisfaction.it's seems odd that three sets of brakes from pep boys would fail in such a short amount of time without a defect.

I bought tirepressure indicating caps for the tires of the honda odyssey minivan. These were marketed under the brand name "ire minders, and came in a set of four with a small digital air-pressure gauge. I bought mine at pep boys, artesia blvd, redondo beach, ca. They were designed to visually indicate when a tire lost pressure, and they came in different tire pressures depending on the recommended pressure for the tires. On july 1, 2007 we drove 40 miles to party. There was no indication that a tire was low from thethe vehicle's electronic tiremonitoring system. But when we came out to go home the left rear tire wasflat. At my local tire dealer, the wheel and tire held air perfectly. But when we put the indicator cap back on, it was obvious that the leak was in the cap--air was streaming out freely, even though the cap showed no signs of damage. It was the "safety cap" that caused our tire to go flat. And quite suddenly, considering the prodigious stream of air that coming from the cap under testing. We were lucky: the cap failed when the van was parked. But if we had been driving, the rapid failure could have easily resulted in a life-threatening crash. The failure of the cap is exacerbated, of course, by the fact that the product is marketed as a safety device, which will presumably prevent the very accident which it may well--and probably has--already caused.the manager of the tire store (4-day tires, rosecrans blvd., hawthorne, ca) said that defective pressure-indicating caps are a common cause of flat tires and tire failure. So it must be happening at a significant rate.i also bought the caps for a friend and neighbor who is generally lax about tire pressure and vehicle maintenance. I will remove the caps from their vehicle tonight. I haven't bothered to go to pep boys for satisfaction yet. We'll see how they respond.

Transmission has been replaced 3 time and is going again.don't know what to do?

In october 2016 i purchased from pep boys: 4 pro line model 185b black 18 x 8.5 wheels.i only put 500 miles on the tires and in march was trying to remove the rims. Of the two front tires all five lug nut areas showed bulging inward towards the center axle with cracks that can catch your finger on, and the aluminum pressed into the studs so that it require considerable force to remove the rim. Bulging and cracking up on the rear rims were evident on two of the stud areas. The rams carry a dot symbol and an saej2530. Possible failure of the hub area to retain the rim and tire on the vehicle may have resulted if these cracks continued i feel very lucky that i didn't travel further on the rims as catastrophic failure of the rims could have occurred. Rims are a loss and i need to spend money to remount tires and tmps to new rims plus the fear of failure on these rims makes me concerned.

Disc brake pads prostop platinun, model pgd862, upc # 077212053209, item #9096976 were purchased 6/27/2014 and used to replace on a toyota rav 4.on 10/03/2015 on braking down an off ramp the right front brake failed and the car went into a tail spin across three lanes.on removal to replace the discs it was found that one of the plates with tabs to hold on to the pad had a tab never bent to 90 degrees.the whole metal plate with the tabs had moved down away from its position behind the pad and had been cutting at the base of the rotor disc and on 10/03/2015 the application of the brakes completed the cut through the rotor disc and completely removed it. Could not read original serial # on pads but have them and the rotor disc.

Since i owned this vehicle it has been a hazard safety for me and my family.i can honestly say im afraid even to sell it and pass the problem on to someone else.until someone gets killed is when jeep will finally due something about it.the brakes and rotors are constantly warping or failing.constant shuddering/vibrating in slow speed stop and high speed decelaration stop.on this site alone there is 326 complaints about the same issue, but nothing is being done.dealer just turns rotors and fixes pads.how many times do you actually turn a rotor.come on already.there is a class action lawsuit against chrysler in effect right now as im writing this.it is only valid for kansas/missour residents only.hello the rest of the country has the same problem with the cherokee.rotors and pads have been serviced only nothing else.i took the vehicle to another brake shop for a second opinion.they stated to me the rotors are not appropriate for this vehicle and jeep should have replaced them along with new calipers.all a want is an end to this problem.i replaced the rotors and pads again at my expense.still same problem.i previously had 2 jeeps before earlier models with no problems.i guess chrysler has lost another customer.

Entire suspension replaced.according to mechanic suspension was shot, and he has seen this on numerous occasions.he suggested this may be a recall problem, but advised to check into it to be sure.also, i have already replaced the multi-function switch approximately 3 years ago and have just been told it needs to be replaced again.i have been driving with high beams on because the lower beams do not work.

The consumer had purchased futura tires (p205/70r14) from pep boys with a 60,000 mile guarantee, 3 tires failed and one had failed with less than 10000 miles, one tire's tread was about to separate, another tire had a busted belt, and the tire that replaced this one was leaking and caused the vehicle to vibrate and veer to the right.

While the consumer was traveling at speed 60-65 the tires blewout at different times, but the consumer was not happy to receive replacement tires made by the same manufacturer.
