On april 7, 2004, my son and i were invlolved in an accident where the vehicle rolled front to back and side to side landing in the upright position and the air bags never deployed.
Defective converter pipes. Replaced by dealer under warrantymay 03. Both need to be replaced 1 year later. Beyond the 12.000 warranty. Cost approx. $2,000. Creating emissions problem.

Driving distractions due to video systems in the car. In the recent years, video systems have become very popular in cars, especially mini-vans and suvs. This should be banned as they are very distractive to other drivers, especially in night driving for cars behind. I was driving behind a suv when it was raining heavily. The kids must be watching a action movie, that had continuous motion. It was very irritating and distracting for me, as a driver behind, and it is a sure cause of accidents in the future. The in-car video systems must be either banned or should be placed at a lower height.
My pathfinder has many problems.first the vechle virbrates at all speeds,wind noise from both front windows and roof rack,there is also a jerk when you shut vechle off this does not happen all the time and happens mostly when in 4 wheel auto this is not 4 wheel floor shift,the dealer has tried to fix 4 times and now states there is a bulleten stated this is normal to get a jerk problem relate to all pathfinder and infinty q-4 from 1998-2002.the vibration is still present too the dealer has balanced all for tires but vibration is still there although is is not as bad,as for wind noise they suggested i buy wind delfector for both windows and roof
I have had to replace the gas tank on my 1995 nissan pathfinder 4 times in the past year.it was last replaced 1 month ago and is beginning to leak again.each time spot welds on the tank have been defective, resulting in a slow leak and build up of fumes under the gas tank.i am very concerned about the safety hazard this poses. *nlm

R4, lt225/75r16, dot unknown, blowout on outside rear dueler at 65 mph.unknown if they are the original or replacement equipment on the 1999 coachman motorhome with 51000 miles.the consumer stated that this was the second incident with firestone blowout.while driving home, the consumer heard a loud noise and a banging sound under the motor home that continued until he could pull over and stop.the tire had peeled and caused damage underneath as well as to the body on the driver's side.tire type-lt225/75r16, steeltex radial r4; the damages are as follows:wheel opening cover/front of wheel house, hatch, and the skirt/frame/floor front/bottom skirt frame.*scc

Pathfinder not original tires, 26575r16, dot pjw8 on f250 1999. Lef t front tires' sidewall peeled off frominsidewhile driving.please provide any further information.
Pathfinder apr tire p235 85 r16 experienced tread separation, consumer feels this may not be a defect of the tires, but of the vehicle.
