The contact owns an aftermarket parts master k8683 steering shaft, that was being used on a 1998 dodge dakota.the contact stated that the lower and the upper u joints would not attach correctly. When the contact would turn the steering wheel, the wheels would not move. Upon further inspection, the contact determined that the lower and upper u-joint retaining clip did not fit with the steering grove. The contact had to weld the joints to the steering wheel shaft in order for it to properly fit the vehicle.
