In 2012 i purchased two outlaw carbon helmets from leatherup. I then got a recall notice from tegol, inc. That the helmets were defective and could be returned for refund or replacement. They sent me a return shipping label, i supplied them with all the requested information and shipped them back, asking for a refund.the week of 4/15/2013 i received a refund check for one helmet. I was concerned that perhaps if i cashed the check my case would be closed. I have attempted to contact tegol, inc. Three different times, asking for a return phone call so that i might know if i have another check coming or what may be going on. There has been no response.
Motorcycle helmet recall 12e-051. I received a letter from the telgo company on the recall and have now sent them 3 emails beginning on jan. 25th, feb. 4th and feb. 10th, with my information requesting a refund and have had no response.
The contact owned a outlaw ax-30030 helmet. The contact stated after receiving a nhtsa recall notice 12e051000 the contact sent the helmet to the manufacturer. The manufacturer had not sent the contact the replacement helmet. The contact called the manufacturer regarding the arrival of the helmet and the manufacturer stated the replacement helmet was not available. The contact called manufacturer again regarding the arrival of the replacement helmet and the manufacturer stated it will take three weeks for the replacement helmet to arrive.
