Every time i put it in reverse, my radio goes out, my pl, ps, and pw stop working.if i drive longer than 5 - 10 miles, the lights and all electrical start blinking and the ps goes on and off.i almost hit a car along side of me the 1st time it happened, i only drove it out of town one time after that, now i don't drive it out of town at all.even in town if i'm driving all over, it does it. I tried talking to ford corp. And they blew me off, even though i told them nobody knows what it is.help!!
The oil filter fell out of car, causing engine damage and chrysler refuses to honor their warranty.
I was driving along a rural road and my engine seized up and the car died.it turns out that the oil filter fell off at some point- 2 months after an oil change.the oil light did not come on until approximately 30 seconds before the car died.when the mechanic spoke with toyota, he asked if this had occurred other times and was told they had heard of it happening once or twice.since the engine had to be rebuilt, this is a rather costly problem to have occur.fortunately i was in a relatively safe place to pull over and call for a tow truck.
On march 4, 2004, while driving my 2002 subaru forrester, i smelled an awful smell and the emission light came on at the same time. Car was towed to palm subaru, gainesville florida, @ 4:30 pm. Palmhas perfomed all prior services on this car including oil changes. Palm could not diagnose the problem that day and directed me to gatro leasing, within their building, for a rental.i did not provide a credit card for the rental which i had for about 16 hours and drove about 20 miles. On march 5, i was told that the oil filter was faulty i had not tightened the gas cap and that is why the emission light was on. Now i am being asked to pay the $22.00 for the rental.i don't think this is far since palm installed the faulty oil filter.

2000 nissan sentra - engine oil stick broke off, unable to check oil, plastic handle on oil stick brittle after a few years. Costly repair to due to defected oil stick. *nlm
