The right front tire had a bubble on the outside wall at 8000 miles, the spare tire which was moved to the right front had to be replaced after 7000 miles due to a bubble on the inside wall, the tire on the front left blewout, the left rear tire developed a slow leak, the consumer attempted to repair this tire but was told by the repairman that there was a furrow in the tread and the tire should be replaced (goodyear marathon 15 inch tires).nlm
Tire cap came off but the tire did not deflate, dealer refused to adjust tire because the cap was missing (goodyear wrangler ht 225x75-16-e).nlm
The 5 blowouts were on our 5th wheel. They were cooper tires and we talked to les cook and he said hitchhiker should have used lt245-75-r16e tires.we also lost two fenders and this could have caused an accident and also the blowouts could have caused an accident.it was always on the interstate hwy. And we would have to wait for help to come.we were lucky nothing serious happened.custom campers who makes the hitchhiker feel the right size tires were on the unit but it is obvious they were not.we have never ever had a blowout on any rig we have owned.5 blowouts in 3 years....something is wrong.
