The manufacturer said they had to have the serial number in order to ship the parts withinthree to four weeks. The manufacturer said that they were not going to ship the parts in bulk to the dealers; they were only sending parts based on one each order. The failure mileage and current mileages were 1500.
Norcold 1210 refrigerator 3 months old stopped working. Authorized dealer (affinity rv, prescott, az) indicated the safety recall device not working. Dealer ordered it from norcold on july 5, 2016. As of august 5, 2016 - still no part from norcold shipped to dealer. After paying $3,000+ for this refrigerator in april, 2016; getting tired of a non-functioning refrigerator - after 30 days waiting for a safety recall device in the first place!! device of that nature should be available and shipped to an authorized dealer overnight!inexcusable delay on a necessary component of a fulltime rv family.
