Cpsc#i1270456a. Norcold refrigerator 1200. Consumer stated that norcold is refusing to reimburse the charge to replace the defective part on his refrigerator. *ln
Norcold recall part arprv control v1.0 or v1.1 would not allow the refridgerator to come on. I found a trouble shoot remedy to reset the switch with a magnet, but will in fail again as we travel. I believe was completed in 2012 or 2013. Will you pay for this to be checked out, since had been a recall? it is has tripped numerous times and refrigerator would not come on. I contacted both norcold and thetford and they said they will not replace the recall kit, nor would they pay for any lost food and any other out of pocket expenses.
Consumer writes a complaint concerning recall notice by norcold, inc. For gas/electric refrigerator installed in consumer's motor home *tgwthe consumer stated she has received three recall notices,but she has been unable to reach anyone on the phone.the last time she called, all she received was a busy signal. Norcold model 1200.
Hinge failure on a norcold 1200series rv refrigerator. My wife opened the door and the lower hinge broke causing the door to fall off and hit her, luckily only a sore wrist.the design is very poor plastic vs. Steel.company bears no responsibility but will sell us a new door!
