Bought 2013 altima in feb. In march noticed the passenger light was on when someone was sitting in the seat. Followed by on and off frequently. Took the car to the dealer.....said he found sensor was bad. On nov. 5,2013 it happened and returned to the dealer who said it showed no errors. Told me it was safe but if the light came on take a picture. It came on twice on 11/8/2013. I am at a loss of what to do other than hold nissan libel for not fixing an obvious safety defect. I will return to the dealer later this week in november 2013. How can we get nissan to react to our protection on an obvious complaint from so many owners?

On this 2010 armada, since the first use after purchase, the low fuel warning comes on with about 8 gallons left in the 28-gallon tank, while the fuel gauge needle appears to indicate the correct amount of remaining fuel.(our 2005 armada developed this exact problem after a few years, and we have received the recall notice regarding the opposite problem in which some systems show more fuel than actual.)at this point it is an inconvenience as opposed a safety issue, but, since the problem on our 2010 armada is obviously merely a different symptom of probably the same faulty component, i feel the nhtsa should consider issuing a recall for the 2010 model as well (and for other year models not yet recalled) since the malfunction could just as well shift to the unsafe failure mode.it also seems very likely that many owners are experiencing the same malfunction as with my 2005 and 2010 models, but that the nhtsa's statistics do not track such complaints problem because the faulty component is not yet 'unsafe' in this particular mode of malfunction.(since the vehicle is at the dealership, i do not have access to the vin or to our office records this weekend, but can provide the vin later if it is possible to revise a posting.)

Front door locks working intermittently when using the remote..

Both fobs (car keys) went bad on my 2009 nissan murano, unable to lock and open doors using the fob.i had to remove the key from the fob to unlock the doors.at night this was a safety issue as i had to struggle to take the key out of the case in the dark.replaced batteries in the fob and did not resolve the issue.on january 22, 2014 i mailed a letter to nissan of america asking for reimbursement of the new fob i had to purchase.nissan was unable to offer financial assistance with the replacement of the fob as the vehicle being outside of the new vehicle limited warranty. As i expressed my concern to nissan that a car key should never have to be replaced. These fobs are manufacturing defectsi understand replacing a battery but not the entire fob.the cost of one fob was $239.61.

I have a 2005 xterra service. Fuel tank was not 1/4 tank and filled it up - had to stop at the store anyway so i gassed up. Anyway, driving down the road, i looked down and my fuel gauge is on empty and the light on. Interesting, i thought. Then the check engine comes on later. I was thinking some kind of gas pocket or something so i got home and un did the gas cap, and disconnect the battery. Engine light and fuel level still on and the unit is failure to read fuel gauge.

2006 nissan titan died in parking lot on sunday, august 1st, started right up.on monday, august 2nd, died in bank drive through, took about 8-10 minutes to get started, then only "chugged".was able to get out of drive through line and to parking spot.turned engine off for 20 minutes, started up and went back to work.at 5:00 on that day, would not start.tried for 30 minutes.husband had friend tow it home and they checked the spark plugs and a few things with no luck.on august, 4th, husband towed the truck to the clay cooley nissan dealership, their test showed it to be the ipdm sensor out.this part was replaced and truck was fixed.the cost for this repair was $306.16.i have just found out that this sensor has been recalled on titans produced from 2004 to june 2006.according to clay cooley nissan, my truck was produced in april 2006; according to nissan customer service this recall was effective from 2004 to march 2006.this makes no sense to me.this part was recalled and it went out on my truck.i plan to keep following on this issue until i get my 306.16 refunded.

2004 nissan quest van engine shut off while i was driving on the highway and lost it acceleration twice while driving locally. I just got this van for only a month.nissan canada this is not safe at all.i bought this van because i have small children.if you have a heart, please check on all the van because this could caused serious accidents.i don't what to do with this one now.if i had known this problem i would get some other van.i need help!

Crack in the exhaust manifold on a 2005 nissan titan.

2006 nissan frontier fuel system. After fueling up my pickup, the check engine light comes on and gas gauge show empty and dte computer goes out. Being a component of the fuel system this can be dangerous. Any malfunction in a gas tank should warrant investigation and resolution.

2006 nissan titan only 35,000 miles and both exhaust manifolds cracked and were leaking exhaust gases that could not be fed into catalytic converters..dealer replaced under emissions warranty since exhaust manifold/catalytic converter are a solid 1 piece unit.they replaced with identical defective pieces that i am positive will crack like the original ones..please check online titan forums and you will see it is a very common problem with almost every titan..my local dealer says they "automatically check every titan" for this issue..i believe this should be a recall campaign because it is so common and not from driver error/abuse, and once any titan is out of the 8 year/80000 mile coverage it is a very expensive repair totaling over 2,000 dollars! most titan owners report a ticking sound from under the hood especially under cold start up-i didn't notice this on mine so i had no idea mine were cracked that's why i believe there should be a recall to inspect as many titans as possible for this emissions issue.

2004 nissan titan exhaust manifold cracked this is a emission issue.

I took my vehicle a nissan sentra gxe 2002 for oil change at nissan agincourt in scarborough in spring 2010. This time i took my vehicle to a mechanic for a oil change. The mechanic from carfax told me the the dip stick was broken when he open the hood and tried to do the oil change. He mentioned that their is a recall for the dip stick in this vehicle. I called the nissan at agincourt where did my last oil change they told me that there is no recall for the dip stick. I was given to understand this is a common occurance for thie nissan sentra 2002 gxe. Thank you.

I have repair the pulley on my vehicle twice and it is still doing the ame thing.making a loud noise, when the air condition is working. Each time i had it repair at rob doll in americus, ga. Which no longer exsist.how can i get this taken care of without cost.

I own a 2005 nissan pathfinder and i have radiator and transmission failure! defective radiator causes engine coolant to leak into transmission which could fail at any time. Driving at highway speed could and will cause dangerous situations. I must not be alone in this problem either, there are hundreds of complaints on this sight regarding this very issue! nissan needs to take responsibility for their design/manufacturing flaw. Many consumers who are not aware of this are at danger and other people on the road as well.nissan needs to recall this immediately!!! why does someone have to be killed or injured seriously before nhtsa or nissan gets involved. I guess money is the root of all evil! and nissan is more concerned about their profits than someone's life! we as consumers need to do something about this! this has nothing to do with the wear and tear on our part, but nissan design department!

I am filing this complaint since nissan does not do anything with the problem to be fixed, i have a 2005 nissan pathfinder, when were on the road our car is having trouble shifting starts jerking, and were so scared that will not make it home because the way its acting we finally made it home and the ca would not reverse we look online and search what' causing the problem and read a bunch of complaint with the consumer at automotive.com stating that the reason for the problem is the radiator fluid leaked into the transmission that causing the transmission to burn, called around with a bunch of auto mechanic and when i mention that i need my transmission replace the mechanic immediately said you know you need your radiator replace because that is causing your transmission problem i filed a complaint with nissan and denied the complaint this should be in the recall because this is dangerous if you weren't aware of the problem if your on the road hope you can help us with this problem.

I have a 2007 xterra with 42k.i filled it at the gas station and noticed right after leaving the station that the gauge still said a quarter of a tank. So i pulled over and turn off the engine and then restarted it the service engine soon light was on. As i were driving down the road the gauge slowly started rising to the full mark.my car didn't pass state registration with the ses on.

Exhaust manifold leaking for the second time. Bank 1 side was bad before the 80 emissions warranty was up, however dealership wouldn't do it, so we purchased another oem manifold/cat and had another shop replace it.now 2 years later that side has failed and is leaking again. The catalytic converter has failed on that side also. Nissan has not offered a recall. Exhaust manifold leaking allows exhaust fumes to not be vented correctly and the fumes can come into the cabin of the vehicle. I have spoken with the dealership and it should be noted i'm out of the 80 k emissions warranty.the oem equipment is not up to par.

Please see the attached documentation in regards to my maintenance reports from baker nissan (19630 northwest fwy, houston, tx 77065 (281) 890-5656) and tom peacock nissan (15300 north fwy, houston, tx 77090 (281) 821-4000). My car has also been serviced by mossy nissan (12150 katy fwy, houston, tx 77079 (281) 589-5300) in the past.this car has given me numerous problems and i do not feel safe driving it.transmission has failed twice (replaced the first time at baker nissan north and the second time at tom peacock nissan)picked up vehicle on thursday, august 6th from tom peacock nissan. They replaced the transmission for the 2nd time.ac issues - blowing hot air then cool air. Dropped my car off at baker nissan to run diagnostic test.steering wheel is hard to turn - noticed this issue yesterday evening and this morning. Started having this issue after i picked my vehicle up from tom peacock nissan.i purchased this car brand new and it should not be experiencing all this issues.

Transfer case seals have failed for the second time after having been replaced by the dealer in the fall of 2008.nissan north america refuses to acknowledge an issue with leaking transfer cases in muranos.they have put in place an extended warranty for cvt transmission failures, however, did not include transfer case problems.

A road object which went under the car not over any tire struck the gas tank and punctured. The installed recalled added tank protector did not keep the tank from being struck and causing a leak. The car was repaired at the makers dealership without any recourse from the previous recall campaign. The recall added device did not perform as described in recall ?nhtsa campaign id number: 06v003000

Driving on a clear day (50degrees) on saturday april 25th, my 2012 nissan murano's sunroof exploded.the glass was protruding outward, as if it exploded from the inside out.there was shards of glass everywhere and luckily there were no oncoming cars because the sound it made inside the car when it happened caused me to swerve a little.

2004 nissan titan exhaust manifold cracked this is a emission issue.

The fuel gauge on my 2007 nissan xterra is inaccurate and not reliable. The obd-ii error code indicates the fault is with the fuel level sender unit.symptoms include "check engine" light (mil) illuminated most of the time, fuel gauge shows empty immediately after filling tank, and remains there for at least two days before slowing rising to indicate approximate fuel level.because it is approximate, i cannot rely on the fuel gauge to indicate when the tank needs to be refilled.there was no specific event leading to this failure; it happened one day after filling my tank with regular unleaded gasoline, and has persisted through at least six tanks full of gas.. And i drive only 25 miles per day, five days per week.

On tuesday may 11th my 2003 nissan murano began to make a loud grinding noise which has been attributed to a crack in the transfer case.the murano has 113,000 miles.this was not caused by an accident and happened without any rigorous use of the vehicle.my concern is the commonality of this failure and no action on the part of nissan.this is a major issue and can cause serious harm to the consumer.in doing research cost is expected to be over $3000.

Brakes, pads, rotors replaced numerous times, car steering wheel vibrates horribly when braking ,brakes squeal horribly with braking (metallic) . Rotors very cheap, have to be replaced every 20,000miles for $400.00. Had complete rear brakes, rotors done last at 90000,then at 121,000, metallic noise again at 125,000-serviced, 130,000 squeak again, 200 miles later brakes bad again, rotor turned, now at 130,000 brakes squeaking again, car vibrates with braking again and cars brakes don't respond as well. Horrible horrible dangerous brakes, rotors, etc .i have never had a car need new rotors every brake job!!!!!!

The headlights and exterior lights are extreemely dim on this vehicle. Safety hazard, especially at night

Nissan has a universal problem with the 2005 and 2006 xterras and pathfinders fuel level sensor. There needs to be a recall asap.

My driver side sun visor does not stay in the up position.it droops down intermittent blocking sight of view.this is dangerous when i drive at night time when the sun visor is in the down position all the time. This is on a 2007 nissan murano.i was told that the repair/replacement will be ~$500 and the extended warranty does not cover for this defective part.

The headlight on nissan altima 2016 has poor visibility. The vehicle is too low to the ground and there were no warning for low clearance.

My 2005 nissan murano lock actuator on the driver side went out.

My check engine light would come on and off along with the gas gauge going crazy from empty to full. They replaced sensor after having to beg (cost would have been 700 dollars). This was just out of warranty. At about 50,000 miles my check engine light was on and they said they needed to replace a fuel sending sensor which cost me 300 dollars whenit was in for that i needed bothu joints replaced because the steering wheel and car wobbled horribly when hitting about 50 miles an hour. This wobble was horrible and thought it was the tires.. Then had to replace two u joints ( second time since owning this 2006 pathfinder).. I wish nissan would step to the plate and recall the sensors and u joints.. Its like everything happens just miles out of warranty. Probably last nissan i will buy because of all the problems.

I was in atlanta, ga driving down union city road when i heard a loud explosion.i heard glass break and looked to see if my back windshield was broken.i pulled over onto a side street and got out of the car and realized that my sunroof exploded. There was not another car nor truck near me before the explosion so it was not a rock.the cloth divider between the inside of the car and the glass was not damaged nor was a rock or bullet found.i called my sister and she told me there was a dealer up the street and to go there.they told me they could not repair it and gave told be that alba glass repair could help me.i kept getting the run around so i called five star nissan, in albany, ga, where i purchased the car.they told me that was not part of the warranty and i had to call the insurance company which i did. No one could explain the explosion.i checked online and this problem has occurred repeatedly with several models of nissan.

Hi, i'm writing to you because since day one in 2007 when i bought my 2007 nissan titan i have nothing but problems with it , first my front end of my truck kept on shaking every time the brakes where applied and i had told pine belt nissan the place i got the truck , that i been having these problems but yet these people still don't wanna bother with me at all , this truck is way to safe to even bother driving it anymore and i refused to pay all this money for a truck that i have got with less then 7,000 miles on it. I had bought all the extended warranties for this truck and it didn't do me any good because every timei have a problem or question about something they are always looking to charge me for something i feel should be covered by my warranty. Next problem was my headlights kept blowing out and yet they still couldn't do anything for me besides make me pay for new light bulbs over 3 times , i also had to buy wire hardness for my headlights because they said the lights got to hot and melted the wires? i don't even understand how any of this is my fault. Next problem is i have told them that my front wheels seem to be shaking when ever im making a turn, next i noticed that my tires are starting to ware on evenly and these tires are pretty much new ??? now i get two recalls in the mail, one for my fuel gauge and the other for the lower control links ?? what's next ed . This truck is really a nightmare, i bought this truck because i thought it was newer and safe to go anywhere, wrong i don't even wanna drive this thing around the block not alone being forced to use this truck to get to and from work because this is my only car and i am not made out of money that's the reason why i bought a newer truck just so i didn't have any problems like these. I guess i was wrong.thanks a lot for your time and any help you could give me , i just don't know where or who else to go to . I just want my truck in 100% working condition like i was promised.

June 2, 2009 i had to have my 2006 nissan xterra to victory nissan in mechanicsville, va after being told by nissan's recall representative that my problem has not been classified as a recall. My fuel-line burst and spewed gas in my engine compartment. It cost me $310.58 to have it replaced. June 7, 2010 the fueline burst in the exact same place, this time spraying me in the face with gasoline when i raised the hood-luckily i was wearing eyeglasses. Again i was told by nissan recall that there isn't a recall for this problem. The reason escapes me as this is very dangerous both with potential fire and physical injury. Nobody has been hurt so far with this issue. In a separate incident, my fuel gauge that is a known hazard began acting erratically a couple of months ago, and i was told that xterras with my particular vehicle identification number do not fall under the current recall that nissan has on this issue. Their reason for the recall is that the fuel gauge could read at 1/4 full but be empty and cause the vehicle to run out of gas in traffic and cause an accident. I guess my car will not run out of gas and cause crashes according to nissan, right?

I have a 2007 nissan murano and as i was driving the seat broke causing me to almostslide off the seat. I called nissan to make an appointment to have it fixed and was told that it would cost me $1500.00. I decided to go home and check if there had been any recall on this part and was shocked to see letter after letter from nissan murano owner with the same problem. This i feel is very dangerous and should have been addressed with a recallfrom the dealer.someone is going to get really hurt if they are riding down the highway at 65 miles an hour and the seat breaks. I hope by writing to you this can be avoided.

My quest was purchased 12/06. Since then the odometer has malfunctioned. They would not fix it. The brake disc have malfunctioned twice, even after nissan replaced them. The response from nissan was "hotspots happen normally in discbrakes". The motor mounts went bad after 2.5 years. Now i am faced, after a little more than 4 years with "power steering pump" replacement and "rack and pinion assembly.

How can a major car company build a vehicle that has so many rust problems. My 1998 pathfinder has so many rust problems. The company has had recall on the front strut housing, filler gas tube. Why can't the company stand up and take care of all the rust problems. Ever 1998 pathfinder has rust issues fenders rear quarter panels . If you paid $1000,00 for factory running boards they all have rusted off. Why is it that the owners have to accept the problem with all these rust issues? this is my first and last nissan i will ever own. Oh did i also tell you the transmission has been replaced, rear end makes noise, the distributor has been replaced filler tube, now the strut tower is rusting. Is this even a safe vehicle to operate on the road?

When my 2009 nissan altima would not start in the morning, i figured it need a quick "jump", but to no avail. - i had to tow the car to my local mechanic who told me the steering wheel lock malfunction is a common occurrence, and that they had extended the warranty a few years ago, only to shorten it after seeing it cost nissan too much. This is something that needs to be recalled, i did a quick google search and found thousands of complaints via various platforms asking to do the same. - please help by holding nissan responsible for their actions!

I purchased a 2009 nissan maxima on november 12th 2009, unknowingly that nissan issued a recall for the front suspension (recall summarynissan is recalling certain model year 2009 and 2010 altima and maxima passenger cars. The upper front strut insulators may have been manufactured out of specification resulting in a potential for the strut insulator to crack) i heard noises from the front area of the car and took it into the dealership, where the service department said they could not find a problem, i took the car back and the noise got worse, i took the car back to the dealer and was told they recalled the vehicle for a sound dampener, and was replaced.i took my family on a 2 hour road trip when my vehicle began to make serious noises, the car began to jerk and shake.i looked online and noticed a recall that was never brought to my attention, the recall states that "if the strut insulator is cracked, there is a potential for the strut rod to come out of its mounting position, which could affect vehicle stability and increase the risk of a crash", i returned to the dealership and spoke with the sales manager and was told that "if i felt that the car is unsafe then don't drive it!".i am paying for a car that is extremely dangerous and was sold this car after the recall and still has not been fixed. I believe that my family and i have been severely been put in harms way and have been lied to about a recall!i feel that the dealership had the duty to repair a crucial safety issue on a vehicle that was present on their lot.i have made three attempts to have the vehicle repaired and now fear for the safety of my family.

2006 nissan frontier fuel system. After fueling up my pickup, the check engine light comes on and gas gauge show empty and dte computer goes out. Being a component of the fuel system this can be dangerous. Any malfunction in a gas tank should warrant investigation and resolution.

Thank you.

Nissan altima hybrid 2009 tpms malfunction. The vehicle was bought in aug 2009 and the tpms failed at least four times till today (mar 2 2011). The tpms light was on even when all the tires were in standard pressure. The dealer/service center was able to repair it all the time but the equipment can lead to a false sense of security.

This statement is in addition of numuras safety recalls. July 2008 on interstate 22 myrtle beach my 2003 murano stalled out with son and daughter. July 2009 it stalled out in whiteville nc. It stalled again. On both occasionsnissan replaced a blown a blown fuse. Nothing else. August 2010 traffic the murano stalled at 65 mph in heavy traffic nearly causing a ten car pile up. We were lucky. Towed murano,to nissan of myrtle beach, fuel pump was replaced. On all the recalls mailed to us refer:these safety recalls could cause fire or crashes. My wife is afraid of our death trap of our 2003 murano. The fuel pump is not a recall, but if you look up complaints on fuel pumps and blown fuses you see i am not the only one my car is a death trap. I want a investigation done.

I have repair the pulley on my vehicle twice and it is still doing the ame thing.making a loud noise, when the air condition is working. Each time i had it repair at rob doll in americus, ga. Which no longer exsist.how can i get this taken care of without cost.

I purchased my used nissan armada in 04/14.before i made my first car payment, the heat and defrost completely stopped working.i returned the vehicle to nalley toyota stonecrest where i purchased the vehicle.nalley nissan stonecrest took my vehicle to nalley nissan decatur for repairs that i had to pay $300-$400 for.after about 2 days or so my vehicle was completed.the heat and the defrost seemed to be working fine for about a month. Then the heat and defrost began malfunctioning again, very intermittently.i called nalley nissan decatur to schedule a appointment.however, every time i returned the vehicle the heat and defrost would be working.currently, my vehicle is back in the same position from which it started.no heat, no defrost.on 07/27/2015, i returned my vehicle to nalley nissan decatur for the same issue that had supposedly been fixed last year.after 4 hours of waiting. The service advisor seemed to think that problem was something different from the last fix, which of course cost more money to fix.today, i took my vehicle to my personal mechanic. After and strenuous diagnostic.he determined that it was the same problem that nalley nissan decatur, supposedly fix the first time (blend actuator doors).now, my problem is when i am driving on a humid day or at night the windows fog up, (especially at night).because there is no defrost the windows can be cleared up.at 90 degrees there is only cold air blowing on the wind shield, which adds frost to the windows , making it hard to see.the same distortion happens when driving at night and the oncoming traffic's lights interfere with ability to see the road.i am temporarily blinded until the other vehicle passes.this in itself is a safety hazzard.not only is my life in jeopardy, but the lives of my family. The cold season is approaching quickly and i don't want to be without heat or defrost.my mechanic informed of the cost being around $1500 just for the labor.wow...

The headlights and exterior lights are extreemely dim on this vehicle. Safety hazard, especially at night

Nycgsport.com selling illegal merchandise. He sold me an hid kit that blinded people and i couldn't see anything. It died in 1 month and there is no warranty.

I havea 2005 nissan murano. The door actuator has failed on numerous occasions. The front driver side fails intermittently as well as the rear door latch. The passenger side door will not open at all. Truly this is a safety issue and should be corrected by nissan. Currently, i have seen nor heard of any recall.

Run out of fuel two times, reason the fuel level sending unit isn't working.

Front door locks working intermittently when using the remote..

My name is [xxx]. My email address is [xxx]. My mobile number is [xxx]. On 7/28 at approximately 8:45am, without warning and/or no indication, i experienced a sudden loss of acceleration on my 2012 nissan rogue. I was in the middle of the highway on the new jersey turnpike with cars and tractor-trailers passing by at speed limits. I had only been driving 45 mins -to an hour. I had to try to navigate safety across lanes to the shoulder by drifting.even pressing the gas pedal down to the floor, the car had only less than 5 miles acceleration. Once on the shoulder, i cut the car off and waited on the shoulder for about 30-40 minutes. Again dangerous situation for this location. After 40 mins,i was able to move the vehicle again to the nearest exit which thankfully was less than a .25 away before the car lost acceleration again and started drifting. Upon getting the car towed to nearest dealership, i am told that this has been a safety concern for consumers with this car model and they have had to perform repairs to this car experiencing this problem at high temperatures. This was truly a very very scary situation. Both my son and myself have nissan cars and this is happening to their consumers. This is horrible and a consumer safety concern issue and someone has already likely died or will die due to this failure.i have never experienced this with this vehicle. I have never had any warning and or warning lights to such.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *cc

2004-2008 titan; rear axle seal leaks. Mine is a 05'. Right rear wheel well is covered with oil and the inside of the tire is flooded with oil also. 55k miles and from what i understand i was lucky it lasted this long. Dealership wants $1,500+ to fix a problem that seems to be a defect not just wear and tear.

I bought a nissan altima 2016. The headlights does not illuminate the path that i travel at night well enough. The design and the lumens of the light output is creating a dangerous situation for my driving pattern.

The door actuator (passenger) on my 2005 nissan armada has gone out twice with in 14 months, causing the door not to be able to open from the outside.

I have a 2005 xterra service. Fuel tank was not 1/4 tank and filled it up - had to stop at the store anyway so i gassed up. I own a 2005 nissan altima. I currently had an oil change at a local garage and was informed that my floor boards are rusted with holes starting to form. My car only has 85,000 miles and is kept in the garage and washed often. This is the only spot on my car that i have any rust. I contacted nissan about this issue and was informed that this is a common issue with the altimas. I had just had a sticker put on by nissan and also a 72 point inspection and was never informed by them that there was holes underneath my car! nissan said they would go half on the cost of repairing both front floorboards which would cost me $400.00 which i do not have. My main concern for this issue is come winter time, i will have holes through my floorboards and with two small children in my car, i am extremely conserned about having toxic fumes enter into my car which could lead to passing out or the fact that my foot could go right through the floor. This is a major safety issue and nissan should be backing up their products as this is a common issue with the manufacturing of their metal.

I have a 2007 nissan frontier, and the gas tank sensor failed like so many others from 2005 to 2010. I ran out of gas the first time and it stopped so suddenly i almost got rear ended. I called nissan and they said that my vin number doesn't fall in the recall list. I am on forums and everyone is having issues with this but they are only picking a few to fix. This is wrong. Anyways now when i fill it up it goes to empty and the light comes on and the check engine light lights. Then after 30 or so miles it ever so slowly starts to climb until it is full. Then for no reason it will go empty again. It keeps going through this cycle.

My 2013 nissan altima sv transmission shuttered while on the highway. I was in busy traffic and almost cause an accident. Nissan should be ashamed of theirselves....making a vehicle with a transmission like this. And they know the transmission is most important part of the vehicle.

The headlights and exterior lights are extreemely dim on this vehicle. Safety hazard, especially at night

Nissan 2004 frontier xe brakes failed without warning causing a collision into an apartment complex entry sign made out of cement blocks. The damage to the vehicle resulted in a total loss. If the vehicle had been repairable, a serious concern for driver and passenger safety due to the high probability of repeated brake failure. A total brake system repair had been done by a reputable repair shop approximately one and one-half years prior to this incident.*ln

While driving my 2003 nissan murano awd sl i suddenly loose acceleration, the engine will not rev and the rpm indicator is 0, the engine is still running, there are no warning light indicators.after several minutes the accelerator will re-engage and the car will accelerate again.this has happened 5 times in the last 2 weeks, took the car to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong, no codes issued.i have replaced in the past 3 years the transmission in the last 7 monthsthe fuel pump, the catalytic converter, the o2 sensors have all been replaced.the dealer indicated that this not a problem they have been aware of and have no idea what it could be...sound like they are not being exactly forthcoming on this issue.

My name is [xxx], i have a 2004 nissan titan i've had my vehicle in the shop 5 times from the fuel rails leaking within the last 4 mth. This did not just start the fuel rails have been leaking over the years i just did not know what the smell was coming from. Once the pressure build up it stops leaking that why i could never see the fuel leaking, until one morning i cranked up with the hood up. The thing is these fuel rails leaks the fuel on the engine and i know nissan knows this.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Twice when i was driving a long distance, the cruise control disengaged on it's own, and i lost power while driving on the freeway. The second time this happened, when i reached our destination, i felt the steering column and it was hot. When i took it to a nissan dealership to have it looked at, they said it was caused by overheating of cvt valve, and the astronomical cost of having it repaired in 2012 nissan rogue, but the voluntary extended factory warranty only covers through 2010- nissan rogue.

There is an ongoing failure of rear axle seals and bearings in our 2007 nissan titan.this results in the slip and brake light burning continuously as well as the rear axle leaking oil.we have had this replaced twice under warranty but it keeps happening. They were changed at 34,712 and 58,205 miles respectively.the lights are on and they are leaking again at 75,209 miles.there is a nissan technical bulletin on this problem with 2004-2007 titans. We contacted nissan and they will not cover a problem out of warranty though it is a manufacturers defect. It appears to us they put cheap repairs in while under warranty and now that the warranty has expired they want their customers to have to pay to fix their design flaw correctly.we have called nissan corporate about this problem and were given a case number and they were going to investigate and let us know if they could help.after several weeks we were told nissan would not help us resolve the problem.the leaking oil presents a danger when it gets on the brakes and makes it unsafe as well as they possibility of parts failure in the rear end. I have been on many titan forums on the internet and this is a very big problem. We are also sending this information to the attorney general of the state of west virginia.

Transmission is slipping very bad. Car jerks hard when shifting form 1st to 2nd gear. When coming to a complete stop car jerks and sometimes won't shift. When putting car in gear there is a hard shift or jerk.

The bracket on the driver's seat has broken, and the seat now rocks. When i reported this to my nissan service dept., i was told that this was a common problem with the murano's and i could either replace the seat or pay to have the seat welded back to the frame. After looking up the complaints on line, i realized that several murano owners all have this same problem. Why isn't this a recall????? i feel like nissan is neglecting the safety of their customers. I seriously am considering never buying another nissan again if this is how they feel about protecting their customers!why don't they feel as though this is not a safety problem-are they waiting for someone to get killed?

2006 nissan maxima 3.5 se.abs actuator failure, tbs, abs, brake lights on.no other damage to the vehicle has ever occurred. Replacement part priceexhorbant, unrealistic. This part should be recalled.

L02d project also known as new versa, was realeased to the market with a lot of concerns, there have been a lot of campaigns @ logistics but plant is not rising the hand to recall units already sold to customer, some of this concerns are important a issues. The most importat for me and what worries me is fr strut low torque, some units were detected with 6 newoton torq. We saw a report were dealer states that in a bump fr strut jump out of hood and it even broke windshield, i'm worried for other customers because this concern was detected after 17k units, and a lot of units were sold in usa. I came to usa and they lie to everyone (jr mgr and above, even plant director knows about this problem), because they said that this was going to be 1st recall and what a surprise that versa has 0 recalls.the root cause is that they do torq with unit on dolly, and r&d recommendation always have been to apply it with wheels on floor. As l02d cowl top avoids you from applyng this torque they decided to jus`t don do it, every other model is confirmed by qa at final line. If you look forward how kpis were reached, and you check all defects on system inspect, you will find some stations named shokiryudo that are inspect stations where defects are declared just to be removed from kpi reports. So this is why versa has such a good performance, because hidden indicators. Most of this defects are important a or b and no one does a countermeasure.this concern was reported on every milestone meeting, but project leaders and qa jr mgr and above even subdirector look to other side and gave the judgment ok.i'm afraid by doing this an loosing my job, but i love nissan and my peace of mind and i'm more afraid by not doing this and finding that some customer had some serious incident and sales goes down just because i did`'t report it,

Crack in the exhaust manifold on a 2005 nissan titan.

Nissan altima 2007 2.5s rear sway bar broken.

Transmission and coolant system (power train) defect, malfunction, and nissan is very much aware of it. Suvs broken down and it up to 10.000 to fix it and still selling them to the people knowing all a long its going to happen at the time due.

Run out of fuel two times, reason the fuel level sending unit isn't working.

Nissan has a universal problem with the 2005 and 2006 xterras and pathfinders fuel level sensor. There needs to be a recall asap.

2006 nissan frontier fuel system. After fueling up my pickup, the check engine light comes on and gas gauge show empty and dte computer goes out. Being a component of the fuel system this can be dangerous. Any malfunction in a gas tank should warrant investigation and resolution.

2006 nissan frontier le 4x4 - fuel sending issue.this will be the fourth replacement in 18 months. 2/28/09 ' approx. 38,000 miles,1/4 full, turned vehicle off to refuel, drove away approx 5 mile down the road fuel gage went to empty, fuel light came on, mileage driven screen below odometer blinks, and check engine light comes on. Paid $380 to fix fuel sending issues. Vehicle work fine - nissan recall comes out return to dealer and replaces for free.,6/15/10 ' replaced at approx 63,000 miles, 3/4 full, start vehicle, fuel sender registers empty w/light on and mileage driven screen blinking, nissan replaces.7/28/10 ' replaced at approx 65,000 mile, 1/4 full, fill vehicle, start vehicle, vehicle is slow to register full, takes about 10 miles to level out.fill vehicle a second time same issue slow to register full.full, start vehicle, vehicle registers empty, empty light on and mileage driven screen blinking. 8/09/10 ' approx 65,500 miles, vehiclefull, turn vehicle on, same issues as above.called nissan again they say bring it in and they'll look again.

My 2005 nissan murano lock actuator on the driver side went out.

The door actuator (passenger) on my 2005 nissan armada has gone out twice with in 14 months, causing the door not to be able to open from the outside.

Front door locks working intermittently when using the remote..

Transmission is slipping very bad. Car jerks hard when shifting form 1st to 2nd gear. When coming to a complete stop car jerks and sometimes won't shift. When putting car in gear there is a hard shift or jerk.

My 2013 nissan altima sv transmission shuttered while on the highway. I was in busy traffic and almost cause an accident. Nissan should be ashamed of theirselves....making a vehicle with a transmission like this. And they know the transmission is most important part of the vehicle.

Transfer case seals have failed for the second time after having been replaced by the dealer in the fall of 2008.nissan north america refuses to acknowledge an issue with leaking transfer cases in muranos.they have put in place an extended warranty for cvt transmission failures, however, did not include transfer case problems.

I have a 2007 nissan murano and as i was driving the seat broke causing me to almostslide off the seat. I called nissan to make an appointment to have it fixed and was told that it would cost me $1500.00. I decided to go home and check if there had been any recall on this part and was shocked to see letter after letter from nissan murano owner with the same problem. This i feel is very dangerous and should have been addressed with a recallfrom the dealer.someone is going to get really hurt if they are riding down the highway at 65 miles an hour and the seat breaks. I hope by writing to you this can be avoided.

2006 nissan maxima 3.5 se.abs actuator failure, tbs, abs, brake lights on.no other damage to the vehicle has ever occurred. Replacement part priceexhorbant, unrealistic. This part should be recalled.

No longer can drive car due to safety/reliability concerns.in both of the occurences above, full clutch pressure returned after letting car sit and coll down for approximately 1/2 hour.a search of the we revealed that many drives of nissan's of this vintage have experienced identical symptoms of clutch pedal pressure failure.dealer will not admit it is a problem.

I purchased snow cables from a near bye auto parts store i told them that i would be driving in snow threw 5 different states calitomontana and i was recommended to purchase a certain brand and was told that i did not need to purchase any other accessory's to use themi first tried installing them before i left to see if they fit good and tight and they appeared to be fine we as the story goes when it came time for me to have to put them on because of snow they only lasted about 20 minutes and i was not able to remove them as i was on 4 inches of snow packed ice as well as semis following me through oregon bye the time i was able to remove them safety i noticed that they had did a lot of damage to the side and under the wheel well of my car as well as they had broke in three places on the passenger side of the cari was only driving about 20mph and there could have been a major wreck if 1 more strap have broken and wrap around my car axels needless to say when i returned from my trip i took them to the auto parts store and they did a labor claim against the chain manufacture to repair my now damage car , i just received a letter that the denied my claim and now i am thinking these cables are very unsafe and need to be corrected asap as before some one looses there life over it ,it does state in the instruction book that they do break ,they denied my clam do to chains being to loose or unbalance matter what ever that means.

I feel this vehicle is unsafe since the issues have not be addressed.

2006 nissan maxima 3.5 se.abs actuator failure, tbs, abs, brake lights on.no other damage to the vehicle has ever occurred. Replacement part priceexhorbant, unrealistic. This part should be recalled.
