The contact owns a 1970 bsa rocket 3 equipped with bikemaster tubes (na). While driving 25 mph, the contact lost control of the vehicle and caused the bike to veer to the other side of the road. The contact sustained minor injuries and the vehicle had considerable damage. The failure was due to a valve separation from the tube that caused the tire to blow out. The failure recurred on another occasion with a different tube of the same brand while the motorcycle was operated at 50 mph. The contact was injured again. After the second failure, the contact inspected the vehicle and noticed the size did not correspond to the size described. A police report was filed for both incidents. Medical attention was not received. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was not provided.
