I have a 2005 chrysler town&country minivan with $32k miles.i am looking at my second brake job.this is my 3rd minivan - the two i owned previously brakes lasted 50k miles or more!!!!!!!is this just a way for chrysler repair shops to make more money????psi have no idea what the equipment description is for the brakes made by chrysler - i just know they stink!!!
Vehicle was making a clunking noise at acceleration, vehicle was also making noises that sounded like the shocks needed to be replaced. Dealership told me that the both lower control arms were broken and needed to be replaced along with the front and rear motor mounts. After this was done 2 days later vehicle check engine light came on dealership has told me that the emission pump and solenoid has failed - the emission pump was just replaced in november 2007.from reviewing the website it looks like chrylser needs to take responsibility for service. I have asked them for all of my parts that they are removing from my vehicle since i no longer trust the dealership and will be looking for an outside mechanic to service my car. Mg
Jeep liberty window regulator bracket failure.i have had three window regulator bracket failures on my 2005 jeep liberty making the window inoperable.one of the failures was within 60 days or replacement.there is no point replacing the equipment if it breaks right away.it's a very bad design and going over a bump can causehe window to suddenly crash down, fortunately mine didn't break. How is this not a recall?i only have approximately 80,000 mile son my jeep.
While my 2007 chrysler sebring was under warranty att around 20000. Miles i reported a noise/vibration on the left rear wheel.the dealer fixed something but i continued to hear noise. So before warranty was up in august 2008 i took it back and they replace the left rear wheel bearings.in march 2009 while i was at the tire store to purchase tires the salesman there said my left rear wheel was dangerously ready to fall off.i called the dealer and they said to bring it right over and they fixed it even though it was now out of warranty.now, one year later my left rear wheel bearing is gone again.the dealer is apprehensive about repairing it and the service manager said we should not drive it. I would like to know why it is going out all the time it has 60000. Miles on it and needs it's 4th left rear wheel bearing.none of the other wheels are affected.please help now.
Going on my 3rd set of brakes at 32k miles. Dodge service center said they knew of this being a problem on all grand caravans 2008 and later. Told me i was out of warranty . At this rate i will have over $3000 in brakes in less than 4 yrs. Needto be a recall for a longer lasting brake. This is to dangerous and costly for the owner and mothers who drive their children.
