My 2001 dodge ram 1500 dash is completely cracked and has several holes in it where the plastic has caved in.i am concerned the holes and continued cracking will cause exposed wires to be burnt or severed, which could endanger the lives of the passengers in the vehicle.

2006 jeep commander with 5.7l hemi stalls while driving at all levels of speed without warning. All power is lost, and i had two instances of this occur within one week while making a left turn. Three visits to the dealer via tow truck in two weeks and after i was told it was done yesterday, six miles into my ride home, it happened again. This is a life threatening situation. Build date is 5/06. All tsbs have been applied to no avail. Need help!!

I purchased a new 2007 jeep liberty and the vehicle did not come from the factory with a trailer hitch or wiring harness. On june 14, i had the dealer install the chrysler recommended harness.the harness they installed is the one chrysler supplies and requires for vehicles with an overhead console, which my vehicle is equipped with. It is a seven-way harness, specified as mopar part number82207248.after the harness was installed by the dealer, i noticed that the running lights on my trailer were not working. I took it to a dealer who tried several times to fix it, but was unsuccessful, even with advice given by the chrysler technical hotline.when i called chrysler's hotline to see if it was possible to fix, they told me they provided the dealer with the information to correct the problem and that it was not their problem, but the dealer's. They suggested i take it to another dealer. In light of the fact that two chrysler dealers were unable to solve this problem already, suggesting that i go to yet another dealer was very poor advice.the service i received from both dealers was excellent, however, the chryslerhotline personnel were very rude to me, had no concern in regard to correcting the problem, and placed blame on the dealers. The problem is that this harness will not work as required for the 2007 jeep liberty. Although the brake lights and turn signals work, the running lights on the trailer do not.i request that all 2007 liberties that have the dealer installed trailer package with the mopar harness number 82207248 be recalled and fixed. This problem is a serious safety issue and one for which chrysler needs to find a fix, rather than continuing to place blame on the dealers.

Pcm chip in 2005 pt cruiser convertible identified by chrysler dealership as being the problem. Pcm causes myriad of electrical & transmission problems which chrysler won't admit to.when any engine light or other alarm indicator goes on in vehicle and i bring it to chrysler-they simply say there's nothing wrong with vehicle.then the troubles start.the pcm causes stalling at a red light or at low speeds--got rear ended twice, vehicle not turning over/won't start, drains batteries (replaced it 3 times),(car was towed to chrysler because it wouldn't start) power steering mechanism leaks (replaced twice) causes electrical problems on dashboard, radio & cd player wont work (cd is stuck in player), causes car lock/alarm system to malfunction (replaced twice) car lock/system has locked me out of my car and fog lights/head lights won't turn off which then drains battery.chrysler dealership "supposedly" replaced this pcm chip 1.5 yrs ago and the repair took a month and a half while i waited without a loaner car even though my chrysler extended warranty allowed me to have one!when i got the car back i noticed that the fog light/headlight indicator light was on and went back to dealer to tell him it's happening again and he indicated that i not ever return to his dealership.now 1.5 years later, i have the same problems with my vehicle and it's the pcm chip causing them. I have lost my job from not being able to drive to work while they 'fixed' my car for a month, lost thousand of $$$ repairing this vehicle, my warranty is now expired, am still financing vehicle, but car won't start and is dangerous to drive because it stalls while driving, etc. The car isn't worth 3k and the repairs are in the thousands to fix all the issues.consumer wants an update on complaint.1/27/10 *njupdated 02/01/10

Jeep liberty 2002 has vibration in the steering wheel that makes controlling the jeep very difficult at speeds over 60 miles an hour. Then i was on the freeway and i had a total loss off power all most causing accidents the dealership said that the engine needs to be torn apart and inspected and a recall of ball joints done the work took them over a year and the problem still continues their is no warranty and i was charged for the recall repair work i asked for the inspection report showing the work on the engine heads and recall work done when i picked up my jeep they gave me an invoice that showed battery and sparkplug for $2085.00 failingto present me with reports i asked for they said all work is warranted for 1yr 12,000 miles i drove the jeep liberty back to service dept after having another facility look at the engine to confirm if work had been done it had not been touched reported the mechanic and i am now scared to drive or own this vehicle .

Spark plugs coming out of engine. It has failed about four times on this truck and one on another one of our trucks. Costs about $3900 to get fixed. Bought new engine because of problem and it happened again on new engine.

1. My 2005 jeep grand cherokee unexpectedly can stall, typically when the vehicle is moving at less than 15-20 mph.unfortunately, no warnings are given by the vehicle as the engine simply stalls and dies.no computer error codes are displayed or registered.the stalling occurs both in forward and reverse.often the stalling occurs when the engine seems to either down shift or up shift in lower gears.the stalling is a safety issue as the unexpected and unpredictable stalling often occurs at stop lights/intersections or parking lots.the problem appears to me to be a coupling between the computer controller/software, the rpm sensor, and the transmission gear box.2. The failure is intermittent and unpredictable.when the computer fails to "catch" the rpms fall rapidly and the engine stalls and dies.consequence is that the vehicle can stop suddenly in the middle of an intersection or parking lot.the failures have occurred multiple times.3. Despite several computer flashes and maintenance on the "solenoid-linear iacv," jeep has failed to resolve the problem. Chrysler-jeep gives the run-around.the dealer says that they can help anymore; the regional manager doesn't recognize it as a safety issue; corporate chrysler-jeep doesn't see it as an issue.

I brought my 2007 dodge grand caravan to a dealership for an inspection. Front and rear brakes were replaced and an egr valve was replaced in order for it to pass inspection. Before the repairs were done i was getting approximately 20 miles to the gallon. This also showed up on the interior electronic information center. After the repairs were done, my interior electronic info center indicated i was getting approximately 10 miles to the gallon. I confirmed this by the "old fashion way" of filling the tank and driving then filling it again and dividing the miles by the number of gallons. This confirmed that i was getting aprox 10 miles per gallon. I called the dealership and to this date have had no response. I'm also continuing to keep track of the mileage and amount of fuel i'm using. The same thing happened with my wife's dodge journey. The web site, www.fueleconomy.gov shows that i should be getting aprox 20 miles per gallon even with the new 10% alcohol addition and these were the aprox epa standards when the vehicle was sold. I am continuing my research in this matter to bring it to my satisfaction.

I bought a 2008 jeep wrangler (4) door unlimited rubicon. I did not have more than 150 miles on it before the engine would stall while making a turn at an intersection. The vehicle stalls on a regular basis. The vehicle now has 7000 miles on it and about two weeks ago it stalled on a main city road going about 40 ' 45 miles per hour. Vehicle display showed that it was out of gas but it hadof a tank. After having it pushed off the road, and having 5 additional gallons of gas put in, it started with a very high rpm. The vehicle is now about 8 months old and has been in the shop for about 60 days. Some of the things that have been replaced are: fuel pump, tork converter, and power module. This stalling problem is a life safety liability. The dealership has been good to work with but our family is at risk every time we leave the drive way.

On my 2005 chrysler pacifica, the motor mounts seem to be substandard and require replacement at a higher interval than normal. While this may not seem like a huge issue initially, a failed motor mount is a reason to reject a vehicle inspection in the state of va. Shortly after purchasing the car used 2 years ago, i needed to replace a failed motor mount, now, 2 years later and with the car having less than 65,000 miles i am having to replace a motor mount again. The real issue now seems to be that chrysler as a whole is out of stock as there is a national backorder in effect at the moment. The fact that this part is on a national backorder makes me feel as if they are being replaced by many other pacifica owners. Research online has shown that the motor mounts fail on the pacifica approximately every 30,000 miles.

My complaint is not focused on the auto manufacturer. It is directed toward the auto insurance industry, and in particular nationwide insurance based in columbus, oh. I was recently involved in an auto accident, and a nationwide client rear-ended my new 2008 dodge caliber. It was less then 1 week old at the time of the accident, and had fewer then 300 miles on it. Nationwide promptly agreed to repair the vehicle by replacing the bumper. However, it has come to my attention that the company's policy is to replace the bumper with a refurbished part, or a part made by a company that may not be licensed or represent mopar, the parts company that supplies dodge replacement parts. I am very concerned not only about losing value for my brand new car, but also that my safety and the safety of my passengers could be potentially compromised by the use of possibly inferior products. I understand that there is a governing body for these types of parts known as capa, but i also understand that not every part is certified by capa, nor could i find a certified part listed for the rear bumper of a 2008 dodge caliber. This is simply not acceptable, and nationwide must replace my bumper (and any unseen damaged parts) with genuine mopar-supplied parts to restore my vehicle to its original, safe, operating condition as it was prior to the accident. The vehicle's engine hasn't even been fully broken-in yet.

The abs traction control sensor have failed causing them to stop working.the window regulators have all failed causing them to be replaced.the windows did not fail all at the same time.each one about 2 months apart.

My 2001 dodge ram 1500 dash is completely cracked and has several holes in it where the plastic has caved in.i am concerned the holes and continued cracking will cause exposed wires to be burnt or severed, which could endanger the lives of the passengers in the vehicle.

I have a 2003 pt cruiser bought it used and since then have kept up with the maintenance on the vehicle . While coming home from austin to san antonio at 9:30 pm the lights on the car headlights completely went out that included the fog lights. I had no blinkers no lights and had my wife and child with me. Proceeded to exit and had a relative meet me up in san marcos texas i followed him all the way to san antonio where i made it home using my relatives car lights as help. The next morning went out to buy the part that i need it 70.25 at the local dealer ship here in san antonio since this happen i have no hazard lights and no turn signals. I have looked at the car and had trouble shoot the car with no avail i have replace the part and took the one from my dodge intrepid and have had no luck to get blinker back on chrysler sure one hell of a car one that can get you kill.

I'm 2nd owner of an '06 jeep wrangler.miles at purchase: 26521.still under warranty.at 27,000 i experienced "death wobble" at 55mph.took it in to ferman of plant city dealership and they replaced the damper.within less then 1000 miles it happened again.took it to xtreme jeeps and they could not figure out what was causing it.i then took it back to local dealership, citrus chrysler of dade city, fl at about 28,000 miles.they have had it since 12/08/08.they say the tie rods and tracbar need replacement but they can't get the parts until after 12/24/08.i research this death wobble and found out that it happens to many, many other jeep owners.you just need to do a google search to see how often it happens.chrysler do not own up to the fact that this unsafe problem exists.there is no reports of this when i paid for a carfax report.this is a very, very unsafe problem that needs to be looked in to.i am expected to bail these guys out with my hard earned tax money while they hide the fact that they're producing these unsafe vehicles.i am now paying for a vehicle i can not drive.the dealership has it in their lot waiting for parts.this is very upsetting and you need to look in to this matter.how dare them not recall these vehicles and redesign steering to make them safe.i will never buy another american made vehicle again.corp greed with unsafe products is so un-american!!!!

I own a 2002 jeep liberty and have had to replace the window regulator 4 or 5 times.driving down the road the window just falls.this is very dangerous because it is shocking and can cause a wreck.the window falls all the way down into the door and there is nothing that you can do about it.you must repair immediately because your vehicle is not secure- theft, rain etc.if the windows are down the thump thump of the rear tires is excrutiating to your ears. Each repair cost $350. To $500.chrysler and the dealerships are fully aware of this problem and refuse to do anything. They admit that this is a bad design (a plastic clip holds your window up) the part is only warranted for 12 months.on the consumer affairs website alone there were 93 complaints of this happening.most owners are just like me and have had to replace the regulator multiple times.chrysler should be made to recall any vehicle that has this regulator.no other parts are available except for mopar and the part has cost me $137. To $170. Just for the part- no labor. This has happened to me while under warranty and out of warranty.now both rear windows broke within two days.i repair and next year the same thing will happen. I and any other jeep owner is keeping chrysler and mopar in business by these repairs.

I am writing to complain about brake pads and rotors on chrysler town and country minivans.i was told today, 3/4/11 that i need all new brakes (rotors and pads on my 2009 town and country minivan.)the vehicle has 14,500 miles on it.i have researched the vehicle and found on edmunds.com that there are numerous complaints regarding this vehicle and its brake system.i am going to replace the pads and rotors because i have 5 kids and their safety is more important than the cost .please take this complaint seriously.thankyou.

Two years ago i purchased a 1999 dodge dakota 4wd pick up truck with approx. 63k miles.at 68,500 miles i replaced the brake rotors, pads and calipers.the caliper bolts pulled out of the spindle on each wheel and allowed the caliper to drop down onto the rotor causing the brakes to pull to the left side and overheat.when i removed the calipers the bolts were removable by hand and the threading in the spindle was rusted out and would not hold new caliper bolts.i contacted two dodge dealers (parts dept) and they stated they knew of no problems with the spindles.i checked on the internet and it seems that there has been an ongoing problem with the bolts pulling out of the spindles on this model of dakota's and durango's.this is clear cut safety problem that should be the responsibility of dodge and the nhtsa should be forcing them to make the repair or at least provide the parts for a solution.please note that the left front wheel did begin to overheat and actually began to catch on fire which required me to stop the vehicle and allow it to cool down and temporarily adjust the caliper in order to get home.

Spark plugs coming out of engine. It has failed about four times on this truck and one on another one of our trucks. Costs about $3900 to get fixed. Bought new engine because of problem and it happened again on new engine.

Since purchase of 2000 (new) dodge durango 5.9l 4 wheel drive, the transmission has been serviced several times at great amounts of cost.i rarely use 4 wheel drive and take care of each required service.on the internet i notice several similar/same complaints. The 4 wheel drive light stuck on and the transmission is stuck in 4 wheel with no indication of going into 2 wheel/neutral or other wise.

2003 dodge grand caravan front brake rotors have been replaced twice.i replaced the oem set with a new aftermarket set.i also replaced the aftermarket set with another set of aftermarket rotors.

I wish to complain about my 2008 chrysler town and country's constant brake problems. I haveboth front and rear brakes fully replaced at 30,000 mile only to fail inspection less than 12,000 miles later that the pads as well as the rotors need to be replaced again at my expense because although it was under 12,000 miles(the warranty) i was 39 days over 12 months. My research has shown multiple complaint on this vehicle for this exact problem resulting is a prorated authorized reimbursement from chrysler back in july. This is happening again after the "one time reimbursement" and the dealership wants over 400 for the repair or they will not pass the inspection. Please look into this and the 1000's of other complaints about the town and country 2008 for costly cheap factory and replacement brakes. A recall is a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Power window regulators...break and windows fall . 2004 jeep liberty.. Tomorrow will be 5 times to have new window regulators. Mine is not the only one there is such a problem that chrysler has a back-order on the regulators. Now my chrysler dealer just charges $100to repair. Had one fail last week and this week the other side failed.

Need help!!

2003 dodge grand caravan front brake rotors have been replaced twice.i replaced the oem set with a new aftermarket set.i also replaced the aftermarket set with another set of aftermarket rotors.

The abs traction control sensor have failed causing them to stop working.the window regulators have all failed causing them to be replaced.the windows did not fail all at the same time.each one about 2 months apart.

My 2001 dodge ram 1500 dash is completely cracked and has several holes in it where the plastic has caved in.i am concerned the holes and continued cracking will cause exposed wires to be burnt or severed, which could endanger the lives of the passengers in the vehicle.

The abs traction control sensor have failed causing them to stop working.the window regulators have all failed causing them to be replaced.the windows did not fail all at the same time.each one about 2 months apart.
