I purchased a brand new jeep wrangler about two and a half years ago. About two months ago the car would randomly stop starting. I have taken it to my local jeep dealer four times for this problem and they have not fixed it. The dealer claims that they cannot fix the problem because they do not know what's wrong with the car. I have notified jeep's corporate office and they claim that the car has been fixed even though its starting problem had persisted. To make matters worse i was driving the jeep a few weeks ago and then all the car's alarms went off, then dashboard failed, the windshield washers turned on and then the car's transmission began to kick within about five seconds. I took it back to my dealer and they claimed that the problem was caused by a defective radio. I personally have no idea if this problem was caused by the original starting problem. I also am concerned that there may be more problems with my car in the future.

Dodge durango 1999 engine just dies while driving gauges drop engine stalls, then hold on and pray that nobody hits you, i have had the pcm replaced at the dealer $850.00 only for it to start the same problem 5 weeks later, i have takenit back to the dealer they say it shows no error and without it being down they are unable to test any further.this is very dangerous. I have spent over $1300.00 and many hours on the side of the road. This needs to be addressed by dodge! i have been lucky to avoid numerous accidents.

Ignition switch wont turn.

Heater a/c for 1999 jeep grand cherokee...failure to operate, ridiculous to repair.makesdriving in cold climates impossible, due to windowfogging and ice buildup.daimler chrysler shouldrecall and repair all jeeps from 1999-2004 who are allknown to have this problem.they should not be allowedto disregard the customer complaints, with regards to this.thiswas repeated year after year, with no easy solutionfor customers to repair.an excessively costly and not guaranteedprocedure which could create more problems, even whenprofessionally repaired, this is a safety hazard for those whomust drive in cold climates.

2008 chrsyler town and country front brakes are defective and ear out within 5,000 miles. Manufacturer is aware of problem and has designed new brake pads. They have not recalled the vehicles. They do not have enough brake pads available for replacement and are telling customers that they must wait 4 months to get brake pads. They suggest that people simply drive with metal on metal until brakes are available. This is absurd and obviously unsafe.

The contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler. The contact notified an authorized dealer on december of 2009 regarding a recall campaign id number 09e044000 (equipment). An authorized dealer stated that the part was unavailable until january 2010. The part became available and unfortunately was used for another vehicle. The contact was waiting on a response from the dealer for the recall remedy repair. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 16,000. The current mileage was 21,000.

Loss of braking after driving through about 6 inches of water.brakes must be pumped to temporarily restore braking.dealer replaced master cylinder but problem continues after heavy snows or rain.

2007 jeep liberty. 4th time window regulators failed in past three years. All windows once and same windows twice.. On 10/08/10 while traveling south oni 95. Windows were in full upright position, when outno where, the front passenger window dropped . Two minutes later the rear drivers side dropped out.i had to drive 100 miles home like that. . very scary . Dealer people know about the problem but said no recall yet.. I guess someone has to die and sue them before they will recall. Soooo many people have same complaint. Please help us before someone gets really hurt.. Thank you. I do not know the part # but had to put something in to complete this survey or it wouldn't let me continue. I believe jeep uses mopar parts, unknown part# for regulator part.. Please help...

Front left tire wore very unevenly w/ 85k miles. Truck vibrates and bounces. Replaced all tires. Truck still vibrates with new tires and seems to have a self perpetuated bounce - most often occurs at 45 to 65 mph, under light acceleration, while making a long swooping right curve - but happens elsewhere less frequently. Certified dodge shop followed tsb and replaced original tie rod (no longer available by itself) with multiple arm damper / tie/ pitman arm parts # 68039930-aa, 52106909-ae, 52122362-ae, 52122370-ab. Truck still vibrates and bounces - very unsettling!you definitely feel like you don't have complete control of the truck while it's bouncing.add ice or snow and ????also new damper parts now squeak when body leans - like when i take a hard right at low speeds in a parking lot. Returned to shop. They suggested i change differential fluid (never done to date), so we did. Made vibrations a little less noticeable, (steering wheel and shift lever don't dance as much) but did not fix the problem. Shop said dodge is working on some other kind of fix (tsb) that may pertain to my problem, but they don't know yet because it hasn't been released. Something about a sleeve that goes over some existing part.i contacted dodge directly to see if i could find out more information about what the problem and what they are working on to fix it. They wouldn't tell me anything except to maybe try another authorized dodge shop if i wasn't happy with the work they did. This is '!@#$%'.!you know dodge knows something.didn't we learn anything from the ford pinto? atleast tell people that you are working on something so we don't waste our hard earned money on pointless repairs that won't fix the problem.my truck is a 05' dodge 2500 crew cab 5 spd manual. Problem started around 80k miles - truck now has 97k miles.

Pre-mature rear brake failure.

Vehicles stalls after extendedoff period.vehicle shudders under normal driving conditions.chrysler has 2 tsbs to fix this- 21-016-05 and 21-009-06 which calls for replacing a trouble prone torque converter.chrysler has an updated torque converter to fix this problem yet will not take action to fix the vehicle even after numerous attempts since 2006 to get transmission fixed properly.i would like this looked into as myself and numerous other owners of the 2005-2006 jeep liberty with the diesel engine experience the same issue.the truck has stalled after starting on several occasions causing concern for action since i have had my pregnant wife witness this.please look into this.

Defect: failure of the factory installed mopar/chrome bumper in an impact of less than 5 miles per hour. 2011 jeep wrangler was involved in an accident wherein thefront right bumper impacted into a fixed object (free standing brick wall). The bumper, which consists of two chrome wrapped tubular devices mounted to a center holding bracket, suffered neglible damage consisting of shallow abrations on the tubular device and without evidence of denting of said device. The tubular component mounts to the holding bracket by way of bolts. The mounting bracket shows no sign of damage however the tubular components now move freely but remain mounted to the bracket indicative of damage to the holding bolts or the internal nut/screw system inside the tubular components. The accident occurred in a confined space of a driveway. The local dealer was contacted and examined the bumper. The local dealer did not believe the bumper was designed to be "break away " in a low speed/less than 5 mile per hr accident. The dealer was asked to contact the manufacture of the bumper to discuss this defective part or design flaw.

The dash is cracking and falling in.if this truck was ever in a crash the sharp pieces will go everywhere and hurt the passengers in the truck!

3 of the 4 power windows on my 2007 jeep liberty have failed...once the windows fail the will not stay up. Had them fixed under warranty. The front driver window is failing again. This is a faulty part and should be recalled. I am considering if the proper agencies do not address this issue to seeking out and filing a class action lawsuit against chrysler and all responsible parties for the lack of concern over a potentially serious safety issue.
