Outrageous ,i have been researching the possible problem of an abs/brake light ,that keeps coming on in my 2001 ford wind star lx van. Statement is 1999- 2003 ford windstar vans could have this and the problems that could occur. Myohmy ..i have 3 children that ride in that van daily, i'm a low income parent. Why would one take this chance with humans. Ibought the van in march of 2009. 2 days later abs/ brake light came on. At the time i was told that i have an eagle warranty ..that might i add not even the ford dealer ship would except.i don't take chances where my children are involved.

We narrowly avoided injury yesterday when one of your lift gate supports failed in use.it is number 901177.i purchased these on august 5, 2008 from rock auto.they were installed shortly thereafter.they seemed to work fine until yesterday.upon opening the lift gate, the gate moved up about a foot or so in its regular manner, but then shot to the fully open position, breaking an attachment and causing the liftgate to slam shut.but for the grace of god, my son was far enough back to not have been hit by the door coming down in free fall.if it had hit him, it could have severely injured him or even killed him.have you had other complaints and failure with these?is there a recall?please respond.
I purchased a pair of "monroe 901510 max-lift trunk lift supports" from amazon.they spring open the first 10 or 11 inches before any dampening takes effect! i believe this could break someone's jaw like a short person or little kid.

The contact owns a 2002 oldsmobile alero. The contact stated that the vehicle had aftermarket struts installed by an independent mechanic. The struts caused premature wear and pulled apart the control arms at the center bushings, which caused the geometry of the suspension to change. As a result, it was dangerous when making turns. The part manufacturer denied any failures with the struts. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 230,000.
