The contact owns a 2005 honda goldwing 1800 with aftermarket kuryakyn handlebar risers/setbacks, model number: 7438, serial number: mlgsm8.8. Upon pulling out of the driveway, the handlebar risers (special motorcycle handlebar screws) snapped off of the motorcycle without warning. The pieces scattered onto the ground and were fractured. Kuryakyn holdings, llc (454 county rd v v, somerset, wi 54025, (866) 277-9598) was contacted and stated that they were aware of the failure; however, the contact stated that they continued to sell faulty parts that caused crashes. The manufacturer did not assist. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
