The contact owns a 2004 ford f-250 equipped with kmc xd77k rockstar 20 inch wheels. The contact noticed that the front passenger side of the vehicle appeared to be lower. While inspecting the vehicle, it was discovered that the front passenger side wheel experienced a one inch crack that extended downward from the outer lip of the rim. The wheel was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000.
I purchased 4 kmc 17" xd wheels xd222 on october 4 2017 from sec wheel group inc. Dba audio city wheels.in may of 2019 i was driving and heard a loud pop sound , i thought the lady beside me had a blow out on hertire. I got home and noticed a low rear tire. I noticed that 9 of my beadlock bolts were broken off. The bolts were so corroded that they had snapped off at the heads. I have had to replace my wheels and tires. I have only been able to get a few of the bolts out without them breaking off on all 4 wheels.it has been over 3 months that i have contacted both sec wheel group and kmc with my complaint and pictures of their product. Both don't seem to really care.the cheap quality of steel bolts they use is a serious safety issue. If that beadlock would of came off i would of lost control of my truck.
