The contact owns a 2006 k-z new vision fifth wheel trailer. The contact stated that while driving 70 mph, the thread of the tire began separating. Upon further inspection, the contact noticed that the shackle bracket connected to the axle was improperly installed, causing all of the tires to become misaligned. The vehicle was repaired by a previous owner for the exact same issue. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that they would not repair the vehicle again however, they were willing to replace two of the tires. The contact owns a 2001 kz new vision ultra.the contact stated that when she walks into the vehicle, her eyes and throat begin to burn and breathing becomes difficult.her family has been unable to use the vehicle due to the fumes that she and her family are breathing.she called the manufacturer, but no one has returned her phone call.she stated that fumes are coming from the glue that is on the vehicle.the vehicle has been aerated, but the fumes still exist.the vehicle has never been driven because of the fumes.no vehicle information was available.

Dt*: the contact stated the front driver side and rear passenger side jacks failed, dropping the 951 sportsman model camper at an angle onto the truck bed and camper support blocks, causing damage to the camper.

There is a strong smell of fumes in the trailer which makes it unpleasant.fumes are so strong that they have penetrated owner's clothing and bedding. Manufacturer has been notified about this problem. Dealership stated thatfumes were due to formeldehyde.hotter the weather the worst the smell.

Consumer is requesting assistance from nhtsa regarding formaldehyde fumes coming from two holes that were drilled in the wood sidewalls of the trailer for the purpose of running an amateur radio antenna cable into his 5th wheel travel trailer, consumer requested that pvc be installed in the holes, however consumer stated that the dealer failed to install the pvc as requested, which left open wood that was not sealed in anyway, leaving the wood sidewalls to sweat and release formaldehyde fumes, the fumes have become cumbersome, contaminating consumers clothing and bedding, and effecting consumers eyes, warranty still exists on trailer.
