2007 hyundai santa fe - may 27, 2010 i was driving on the interstate at 65mph when the passenger rear wheel locked up causing the car to fishtale - as i moved over in to the slow lane, it fishtaled again. The dealer it was towed to said it was the yaw sensor which they replaced.i informed them at that time that the ecs off light had been coming on to which they replied it had nothing to do with the yaw sensori called the week of july 4th to let the dealer know that the ecs off light came on again - they informed me that this has been a problem for many santa fe's and they needed me to come down (150+ miles one way) to hook it up to see what the code tells them.on july 19, 2010 driving 75mph on the interstate, both rear wheels locked up and there were no brakes. This car is a danger to my life!

I have a 2008 hyundai sonata.the sun visors continue to fall down or sag.i've had both visors replaced within the last year and half.luckily, my car was still under warranty.however, they have failed again since then, and now my sonata is out of warranty (i have exceeded 60k miles).my research shows that the visor tension rod loses tension over time and eventually fails resulting in visor sag.obviously this is an ongoing problem because the replacement visors haven't been re-engineered, this according to a hyundai rep.you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the hazard here -- the visor can block the driver's view or worse scalp you if in an accident. What does hyundai do?they check your warranty status and replace it with same defective part, or worse, if out of warranty, they offer to sell you a replacement at $85.00.really!!the dealerships claim no responsibility as does apparently the hyundai corporation, which should be investigated by the nhtsa for failure to acknowledge a recall.how many complaints does it take?and why are hyundai consumers stuck paying for a safety defect that is unambiguously clear?if you don?t believe me, talk to any owner of an ?06, ?07, or ?08 sonata.this is really upsetting to me because i thought hyundai was doing a good job.now, i'm having second thoughts.issue a recall already!!the p/n for the right side visor is 85202 0a750qdqqh by hyundai america.i don't have the option to select that under the equipment tab so i posted it here.
Had car in shop in for the dash to be replaced due to cracking all the way around the air bag compartment on the passenger side in 2007.this a 2006 model hyundai sonata-dash is cracked again in the same area as before completely around the air bag compartmentfear this could cause injury or air bag to deploy without accidentdealer states it is owners problem & expense as it has been just over 2 years since replaced the first time and there is no recall issued for this problem-feel that this is a defect in material & a safety hazard that could cause an accident or injury.
