The passenger airbag actuation sensors do not work correctly on our 2006 hyundai sonata.my wife can ride on the passenger side and sometimes the dash light shows that the passenger airbag is off and sometimes it shows that it is working.the mechanics claim that my wife does not weigh enough, but she assures them that she is plenty heavy!

I have owned my 2006 hyundai azera since 9/06. From the beginning my complaint to them has been the passenger air bag would not engage when i was sitting as a passenger. I am petite but the answer of "you are just too thin" was really not the professional answer i was searching for. This also has happened when my 16 year old 180lbs son was my passenger. In 1997, i was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver. I was very adamant with the service dept about this issue as i know my air bag deployment saved me in that crash. When did hyundai know this was a problem with the azera during the years they were telling me i did not weigh enough. What will i be before this gets fixed, if they are better than toyota at that, or, if i am involved in another innocent accident? i just don't think this recently discovered as it has been happening to me since 2006. I feel as if my life has been arbitrarily ignored for the past 4 years and that is wrong.

Hyundai sonata passenger and main air bag failure 2006 vehicle. Brought vehicle in for passenger air bag failure/ recall. Hyundai stateall working ok, air bag still not working. Hyundai did nothing to correct problem. Adult sits in front passenger and air bag light still does not work all the time.i am driving an unsafe vehicle were i don't feel confident the passenger air bag will deploy when it has too. What is hyundai waiting for, a death due to the arrogance? november 2009 main air bag indicators come on.hyundai does diagnostic and tells me seat belt tensioner failure. They refuse to pay for it, they replace seat belt buckles and tensioners. Main air bag problem corrected but passenger air bag still intermittentproblem. I have been in contact with hyundai consumer affairs and they refuse to pay for therepairs since it is out of warranty. The car was less than 3 years old with 74,353 miles . Is this a safety issue or a warranty issue? i paid for the repairs but i never know if the air bag system will work properly.what rights do i have in this matter since hyundai is not taking responsibility? also there is a recall on the hyundai azer 2006-2009 for failure of the seat belt tension sensors. This is the same problem that i experienced in my 2006 sonata. Who is to say that they used the same part in my vehicle? i would appreciate if you contact me andlet me know how i get reimbursed for the repairs and get my car save again.

2006 hyundai sonata gls v6 vin : [xxx]. While driving a day air bag light came around 83k miles. Brought into dealer and was told it was "rf buckle & ocs failure" total estimated damage to my wallet = $1,700, after i paid the $105 for them to hold onto my car all day long just to plug a computer into the car which reads the codes and spits out the problem. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Hello,i'm 26yrs old. I own a 2003 tiburon gt v6 6speed with less than 80,000 miles. I bought it off of the original owner with only 9,000 miles. Within the 70,000 miles i've driven it, it's had three clutches.? i've owned all manual driven cars since i was 16, i learned how to drive with one. We all know i burned that clutch up a little bit yet i still didn't burn that clutch out. The first clutch i had to replace i paid for the parts. Hyundai took care of the labor which was nice but, i still had to pay for a part that i wasn't at fault for ruining. Now i'm on my third clutch, i had to pay for this one in full because i'm the second owner and hyundai only covers 60,000 miles. As of 01\06\09 this one is no longer working. There has to be a manufactures defect of some kind. Whether it is the hydraulic lines pumping too much or not enough fluid, the reverse dual mass clutch, or it being the first year they made the car, and this was one of the problems hyundai had to take care of. I need help please. I've read more reviews on "2003" tiburon's than i can handle to read, and at least 90% said they had clutch problems. I started looking for a solution and the only thing i could find was consumer affairs #, e-mail, and a few other #'s. I called the consumer affairs #, and now they told me they can't help go figure.their reason was it being to far out of warranty although it was at only 31,000 miles.now at 77,000 it goes again, what a coincidence.this disaster of a car has cost me around $4,000 and has also put a halt on my life.i had a jeep payment that i had to surrender back to the bank because i could no longer pay for repairs on the tiburon and my jeep.i'm writing this in hope that there is some kind of good will, recall, ect.to help reimburse my loses. Thank you in advance
