There was a collision which involved significant front end damage to a 2003 hyundai tiberon. The speed at impact was 55mph. The driver airbag failed to deploy.
I have a 2012 hyundai elantra with less than 50,000 miles on it.recently, the airbag symbol comes on when igniting the car, turns off for a min or 2 and then comes back on and stays on.evidently, this indicates that there is an issue with the airbag, which not deploy when necessary.this is obviously a safety issue and should be repaired by the manufacturer.
Vehicle type: 2012 hyundai sonata seon thursday april 14, 2016at approximately 6p in the evening the air bag check light was illuminated in my vehicle for no apparent reason.the following day, i took the car to the dealer, and was told to make an appointment to have the issue addressed.on sat april 23rd, i was told that the repair was $436 to replace a clock spring assembly (part # 93490-3q120).due to the fact the vehicle has over 60,000mi, this equipment replacement is not covered by any warranty.i was astonished to find that something of this import would ever need replacementand that such failure in the device would prevent my airbag from deploying in the event of a collision.for this reason, i believe that the warranty on any such item should be unlimited.without this repair, i do not have a functioning airbag.i contend that the repair of equipment required by the nhtsa should be covered by the manufacturer and warranted by such for the lifetime of the vehicle, as long as the vehicle is operational.

Hyundai elantra 2014 :radio comes on by itself (many instances); ports for use of electronics intermittently work (off and on); car will not start unless i keep on braking and turning the wheel (4-5 times); car started but was unable to put in gear -- locked in park.i shut the car off and made sure the wheel locked and restarted and it worked (1).i've had it in for service with these complaints about 4 times and they started to charge me for checking the vehicle out.they never seem to find out anything wrong.nothing has been replaced.several different dates this happened.
After leaving 2013 sonata parked for 3 hours car would not go over 5 miles an hour. After investigation by hyundai mechanics they found that a portion of engine wiring harness had been chewed through by some kind of critter.come to find out the material used as wiring insulation is soy based that attracts critters.this could be a sever safety issue that could lead to accidents, fires, or what ever.
I purchased a new 2013 hyundai azera. My wife and i was given a class on our new vehicle. The day of our purchase my wife and i noticed the back bumper was every dirty, we thought. The back bumper was covered with black carbon that came from the exhaust that also had carbon as well inside andaround the outside tips.i contacted the dealership where we purchase the car.they ask what grade gas did we put in the car? i explain that we would not put fuel in the car and that they filled the car with fuel. And explained that we had just left the dealership a few hours ago. Service asked us to put 87 octane in the next time we fill up.i called hyundai company and they said to use 87 octane fuel as well.i understand pump gas has additives that are added to gas.i've only seen this with gas vehiclesthat are running bad or with problems anddiesel engines powered vehicles. Do u.s. Department of transportation have anything on a hyundai's 2013 azera?
I recently lost my key fob on a keyless start car.it took 5 days with expedite services to get a new fob.then the fact you have to get your car towed to the dealers to program on top of that.imagine being in the western us with kids and a dog, and your stranded!the reason fobs get lost is lack of use.they fall out of pockets, purses, etc.every car made should also have a backup key.then the cost $500 to $800.locksmiths could help you before now you are stranded and at the mercy of the manufacturer.i have a hyundai and hate the keyless entry. The dealers never have the fobs in stock!
The nav radio freezes up. Restarts randomly over and over. Can still tune the radio and sound through steering wheel but cannot see anything on the nav screen. This happened a day after the car was purchased. The dealer was contacted and said that the warranty was up. Would really like to get this issue fixed, as this is why the car was purchased. For the navigation feature.

I have a 2016 tucson sport with 62000 miles on it. I've been having issues with the ac blowing hot air on and off for a few months.. I took it to a hyundai dealership and they replaced a defective compressor, the torque limiter had internally sheared due to binding. Now 4.5 months later it's blowing hot air again. I've also had to have the electrical system fixed, the steering column, housing, and mdps module assembly replaced as well.
Hi not sure if this is a safety complaint or what it would be considered. I have a 2016 hyundai santa fe sport vin - [xxx]when i was looking up recall info for it i saw that you had a back up camera listed as standard safety equipment. My 2016 santa fe sport does not have a back up camera nor did it come standard. Do i need to be concerned that is concerned as standard equipment but it is not in my car?parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Headlights on low beamthe lights only reach out 65-75 feet and then there is a solid darkhorizon line with no light what so ever above this line.at highway speed of 65 mph this lighting dose not give the driver enough time to avoid a problem. Contacted hyundai and they are not willing to admit to the problem or do anything about it. After research the solution is to add h i d lighting to the car hyundai say that if it is installed they will not horner anyfix any repair claims on the car. I drive 100 miles a day in the dark andthis is out and out dangerous. Some thing needs to be done about this a s a p.

I purchased a hyundai 2021 palisade sel in december of 2020. Within a day of my vehicle purchase, i began receiving a message while using my wireless apple carplay that my phone was "not responding" and i needed to reconnect. It takes two button resets on my navigation screen to reset this feature. I told my sales person about this issue two days after purchasing my vehicle and was told i must have a bad wifi connection when this occurs. It has continued to occur regardless of a "strong" wifi connection and i have now taken my vehicle to 2 dealerships and have been told there is no "fix" for this problem. I was told by one employee that this is an apple issue and it will be fixed via an update to my cellphone. Both dealerships said there is nothing they can do and have been instructed by hyundai not to replace the radio/audio system as they will not reimburse the dealerships for this but that this issue will be addressed "soon." this physical "reset" is required sometimes as often as every few minutes. Upon a christmas drive from georgia to wisconsin, i had to manually reset this feature more than 100 times in order to view my navigation screen. I feel this is an extreme hazard while driving to myself and others and would greatly appreciate attention to this matter.
