I purchased an hid conversion kit (8000k) from amazon.com and received several complaints from other drivers that the headlights are extremely bright and causing temporary blindness to the oncoming traffics. I asked my local police department about the headlamps and they told me that the hid conversion kit is illegal to sell or use in the usa. However, amazon.com has been selling 10,000+ hid kits on their website daily. I am wondering why the nhtsa is not enforcing the sales of these illegal hid kits and let thousands of citizens risking with these lights.
