Vehicle stalled while driving @ 40-45 mph on us41. Vehicle completely locked up.batteries replaced more than 4x . Ford galloway fort myers , florida refuses to fix wants me to keep replacing batteries. Vehicle being repaired for over 6-7 months.dangerous vehicle almost killed me. From 12/2006-5/2007 vehicle has died on me every month several times during the month. Dealer still has vehicle.

Engine head is cracked. The motor was replaced in 2000.jan 2008 the engine head was warped due to over heating. The head was rebuilt and truck ran great. Until july 2008 ( only 6 months) same problem happened. Now head is completely cracked. There is engine coolant in the oil pan. I found this when the oil dipstick said there was too much oil so i drained some but orange coolant came out. Since new motor, the vehicle has about 50,000 miles.

Driving on the road and my accelerator didn't work.the engine was still on but when i pressed on the accelerator it didn't register that i was pressing the foot.towed to toyota dealer and they said that some ecm - engine control components were defective and they replaced the engine computer.didn't think it necessary to do a recall because it was only in some cars.

Died on highway, cranked but wouldn't start, ended up being crankshaft position sensor, distributor cap, ignition rotor, crankshaft went out and burnt up the other two. Few days later happened again, died on highway, crank but won't start, had to replace distributor cap, ignition rotor, again with ignition coil. Caused 2 tow charges, now check engine light is on and the catalytic converter has gone out.

The following is my complete account of the events that occurred with my 2007 mini coopers .' march 12th to march 16th trip to myrtle beach and back to my house is approximately 490 miles.the car's performance was without incident on this trip.the vehicles on-board computer provides no indication of engine problems.' friday march 18th departed home for universal studios.trip to universal studios is approximately 222 miles.the car's performance was without incident and on-board computer provides no indication of engine problems.' saturday march 19th left universal studios for residence.at jacksonville, florida i pulled into river city marketplace. Up to this point in the trip the vehicle has traveled approximately 162 miles from universal studios to river city marketplace. The car's performance was without incident and the vehicle's on-board computer provided no indication of engine problems.as i pulled into the parking lot i heard a loud banging sound and then the car stopped. The car on-board system showed no emergency indicator warnings whatsoever on the trip from universal studios to river city marketplace up until the time the car stopped. I noticed no oil leaks beneath the vehicle while it was waiting to be towed. On monday march 21st i spoke with my mini cooper service adviser,to inquire about the condition of my vehicle.in summarizing our conversation the adviser stated the service technician initially indicated my vehicle engine had been 'run dry' of engine oil and if this was the case my vehicle warranty would not be honored by the dealership.i was astounded at hearing this information and the service tech this could not be possible because i had checked the fluid level on march 11th and the dipstick clearly showed "full".there had been no on-board computer notification of any engine oil condition.the service tech stated this vehicle does not contain this feature when my vehicle manual clearly indicates such a feature.

The contact owns a 2005 general engine eager beaver 12hdb-pt (na) trailer. The contact stated that the trailer fractured when it had 19,000 lbs less than the maximum weight of 24,000 lbs. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure multiple times. The failure mileage was not applicable.updated 5/26/15 updated 09/17/2015
