Garmin recently had a recall on certain nuvi models that suffered from battery overheating.i have a garmin street pilot c550, that has ceased to function and i believe it is as a result of the same battery issue.i would like to see them increase the recall to cover the street pilot c550 model, as well as other models that might have suffered similar issues with the battery and functionality of the unit.[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Garmin battery recall does not recall all units my serial # is not recalled but it smells hot garmin will not respond.
