The ignition cylinder on my 2000 ford focus zx3 is a source of constant headaches. This is not a new problem to me...i've had my ignition cylinder replaced 4 times in 4 years on my car. It is always the same problem, and ford knows about the difficulty with this part....i am not the only focus owner with this problem. This part needs to be recalled.
I purchased my saturn sl2 4-door brand new in 1999 with only 10 miles on it.it was a perfect car until it overheated one day.i called the dealership service department and they told me to use only dex-cool in my engine.so i walked and purchased some and went onmy way.since that time my engine continuously gets overheated, i have had to replace the water pump, the radiator cap and now the dealership has told me that i have a cracked radiator head with warped gaskets which will cost too much for me due to my being on disability.my car only has 94,000 miles on it and i have it serviced regularly.i feel that dex-cool or the dealership should be held responsible in fixing my vehicle to no fault of my own.
I purchased a compressor for my 94 buick regal from koi on june 15 2006 the compressor locked up around july 1st so i returned it to the store. They exchanged it and that one was installed. On august 21 2006 i was taking my son to the drs and the compressor caught fire. Now not only do i need a new compressor but i need a new serpentine belt and multiple new relay wires ran. Koi will not exchange the last compressor.
