On my 2005 ford mustang v6 the speedometer often gets stuck or performs erratically and stays stuck when the car is turned off. This is a large pain as it does not register any accurate speed and one must turn the car on and off several times to get the speedometer to zero. The failure occurs randomly about once a week. The quote to replace this product is ridiculous at around $600.
Check engine light came on after the check fuel fill inlet light had been on. When taken to the ford dealer they said the legal canister failed internally. Now ford is saying they won't cover it because it not part of the emissions system. My vehicle is 2014 ford flex del.
My name is[xxx] and i own a 2002 ford explorer xlt (v6). I have owned it for almost a year now (will be in jan 2012) and loved every minute of it until recently. About 4 months ago, i heard a strange loud whining noise. I immediately took it to my mechanic and found that rear wheel bearing was going. I was also told that if i would have took the interstate to work that evening i could have possibly died or caused serious injuries to others on road. Very scary! mind you this bearing went with no warning. Immediately after i heard the noise i took it in. Well the bearing got fixed and i couldn't have been happier. However, about a month ago i was on the interstate with my two year old daughter doing about 70mph when my truck began to shake violently. I assumed i was in the process of having a tire blow-out and began slowly breaking and losing control of the vehicle. Luckily i made it onto the shoulder of the interstate. My tire however was not as lucky. All 5 studs on my right rear tire snapped causing the tire to completely fly off and proceed down the road at a fast speed just passing the turn ramp and missing several other vehicles. In the process of losing the tire, it also caused damage to rear end of my suv. It looked as if the tire got caught and caused the rear to dent in.replaced studs and everything seemed fine. Today (dec.15th) not even an entire month later, vehicle started shaking again. Oh how i remembered that scary shake. Examined tire and once again, studs snapped. 2 this time with a third one missing the cap. The tire was only held by 2 studs. Thank the lord i noticed this problem before going onto the interstate and once again having my tire fly off! i have been doing research this evening to find that this is a common problem with the 02-04 explorers. Please make a recall ford and others help me to get one made! this is a scary and dangerous situation! it can cause the loss of many lives as it has almost done mine and my daughters.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information a
06 ford fusion. I have been having a cracking sound in the front right suspension, took it in to ford to get tires done, they found that my front subframe welds have cracked and it would cost 1500 to fix with a used part, the complaint is , when i came home and researched this issue, i have found tons and tons of complaint with this same issue, it appears to be a failure of ford to have a correct weld placed in this area, i believe we need to have this investigated and looked at, the subframe weld that has broke is where the front lower control arm hatches to the frame, with this busted and poorly welded we are looking at suspension coming apart and creating an accident and deaths i am asking for a recall to be made.

I pick it up and they told it was the airflow sensor they told me in two weeks it should arrive and they would change it.i returned to the dealership on feb. 20 because my passenger door stop working it did not open any more. They told me it was the door handle to return and they will change it.i returned a week later they took my car in they said they will fixed it and when they inspected again the said it wasn't the door handle it was something else. They called me that same day to give me and update they kept my car for six hours. Only did the oil change they did not change the sensor and to this day (3/17/2020) they said they have not received the part of my car.it's frustrating because the sensor of my car is still not fixed every time it rain it says there an obstruction in the front. My car has stop multiple time and i told the dealership that my toddler is in the car with me which is very dangerous. I have try to do a trade in and i can't. Like i told the assistant manager at services. I do not live next to the dealer and i don't have time to be driven back and forth. I have also ask to borrow a courtesy car they said they don't have any. I do not feel safe in the car and i have contacted the dealership (nassani bros.) multiple time and the have no answers for me.
Piece of seat belt has flimsy plastic that easily snaps in half resulting in two pieces of very sharp pointed plastic. In the event of a crash and the plastic breaks could easily result in loss of eye, facial lacerations. Dealer informed me these break very easily, thata coat or purse can be caught on them and they break. Poor design, ford refuses to fix the broken piece or correct the danger.

Tl - the contact owns a 1999 ford grand marquis. The contact stated while changing the passenger side rear tire the factory issued jackfailed to support the weight of the vehicle and bent. The equipment was not taken to the dealer to be inspected. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 88,000.rvk
The headrests on newer cars may help prevent whiplash but they cause chronic neck and back problems.the angle on them is extreme and pushes my head forward into a painful and unnatural position.surely there is a way to make these safe for both acute (crash) situations and safe for longterm neck/back health.when you spend hours in a car with your head jutted forward it is a major issue.reconsider your requirements.this is ridiculous.

2010 ford escape back hatch and window fail to open. This is a keyless window and hatch. Ford dealershipwants to charge 380.00 to repair. Ford does not have amanual or secondary system to open the back hatch and/or window.this fail has rendered the back portion of the escape useless.in an emergency, a secondary manual opening device from the interior and exterior needs to be retro-fitted, after market by ford. The dealership where we purchased the vehicle, has no interest in resolvingthis obvious engineering blunder.
Was going down the highway in a construction zone when i was unable to maintain speed due to gas pedal being stuck.i had to coast until i was able to find an area between the orange barrels in which i could pull off.

2009 ford expedition- front driver and passenger headrest are completely ineffective and misaligned. Would cause severe injury in an accident and currently cause neck strain on a daily basis.
Failure to push into reverse gear, i was making u-turn however i was not able to shift to reverse therefore could cause an accident. The front passenger side of rim and tire damaged.

The contact owns a 2004 ford freestar.the contact stated that while attempting to change a tire using the manufacturers jack, the jack failed. The vehicle barely missed landing on the contacts foot.the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.the failure mileage was 113,000. The vin was not available.

I thought it was the fuel filters but it done the same after i changed them. I took it to a garage and he said he the tank liner was coming apart now it messed up my injectors, and i think ford should have a recall on something like that before someone gets killed or severly hurt!!!!it is in the shop now and i think ford should pay something on this.
The motorcraft fuel filter on my 2002 ford mustang cracked at the seam where the inlet nipple is attached to the body of the filter.gasoline was spraying out of the crack and leaking on the ground.the wynn filter i purchased to replace it with uses a one piece filter body which is much safer.has anyone else reported the filters breaking and leaking?

On monday i noticed a strong gasoline smell coming from the rear tank (dual tank system) of my truck.tuesday after switching gas use from the front to rear when i stopped at a local store, gas was dribbling at a high rate of speed out of the gas cap area from my rear tank. By the time i got home pressure caused the gas to practically explode out of the gas cap by the gallons. The fire department had to be called to ensure that moving the truck did not start a fire and to clean the spill.after researching the issue, it appears that there was a recall through ford for earlier dual tank models for the same issue (nhtsa campaign id number :93v125000).many other 1994 f-150 owners are having this same issue but a recall has not yet been issued (example: nhtsa complaint # 10533605). I assure you that this was indeed a huge fire hazard! according to your files, in 1993, ford is well aware of this issue through recall 93v-125. Why haven't other owners with dual tanks been notified? in addition, why hasn't there been another recall for later ford models?
